Hello:
I just bought a Meguro MAK-6581 audio analyzer but I cant find a manual anywhere online. I came across a link posted here but the manual is no longer there. Do you have the manual and can you send me a copy?
Thank you.

You may be able to contact the guy who made it available: https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/members/nescafe.html if he reposts I grab a copy as well. it looks like a great instrument. I like lots of meters/displays.
Uploaded the MAK-6581 service manual to
Filebin :: bin ackfoky2r92knbty, the link will last a week...
Also put it up on elektrotanya.com but it might take a while to be sorted and findable?
regards
james

Thanks for making it available. The notch filter looks really similar to the HP8903/Boonton 1120. The overall performance should be quite good and a few opamp improvements could make for a significant performance improvement. Well worth making the effort.
The GPIB looks very manageable. The program I have started: PC Software control for Analog Audio Analyzers Releases * 1audio/Boonton-Windows-10 * GitHub could be modified to control this pretty easily.

You can buy a poor Xerox from HK on eBay or PM me your e-mail and I'll send you scans of that and a lot of other stuff to help with the 725 series.
I made scans of the manual and have shared them with anyone who has asked. They are too big to post here. Those are what I sent you.
Maybe post on BAMA or one of the other similar sites.

Oh,
Will try this week to merge the schematics without gaps.
And hopefully can redraw the hand drawn schematics.

Does anyone have documentation of modifications made to the Shibasoku 725D that Davada and 1Audio did? (Weren't you doing some mods to make them less noise?)
The mods are described starting from page 21
ShibaSoku Automatic Distortion Analyzer
Are there any other?
Contacted various companies in Japan known to be affiliated with ShibaSoku, and seems there is no Service Manual for the 725C.
However I got the user manual, which is nice and polished.
Meh, too large to attach here

I'll send the files shortly that I have for both 725-725C and 725D. I have the unit David modified and I can open it and document as necessary.
Sync- PM me your e-mail so I can send this to you.

The 725C I got is some sort of hybrid.
A mix of 725B and 725C/D. The ADC has a label 725D on it.
Might sound silly, but should I encounter magic smoke if I operate the unit without the "A" boards?
Believe one of my supply voltages is off.
