need some help
Whats up gang? I have a 2500 with the diy projector company kit mk3. In order to fit the lcd into the case it needs to be disassembled. There are 3 boards inside, two are bound by a hard connection and the other (psu) is a harness. The way the case is designed unfortunately sucks for use with this lcd because either i need a longer controller to lcd ribbon, or cable that will replace the hard connection between the two boards that have that connector on it.
Its either that or i move the lcd tray up a few inches to compensate but i'm not sure how that will affect the optics and brightness of the display. any help appreicated

qa 2500 power supply from proxima
I thought I'd add my 2 cents. I'm using a Proxima Ovation 820 power supply for my qa 2500. It works great. Just cut off the plug, tin the wires, and insert into the holes(until you find a connector). The pin outs are as follows; looking at the panel : top left=+5v, top right=+12v, and both holes on right are rtn(ground). The other wire from power supply is unused. hope this helps.
regards,
tom

my mistake
hi guys, i'm sorry for the misprint. the +12v is bottom left pin when looking at the panel. I typed top right when the rtn or ground is both right pins. duh! so as it is looking at the panel, top left is +5v, bottom left is +12v and both right are ground or return. sorry. ta ta
