Could just be the IEC-baffle which they use for their measurements, at least the unusual 900Hz dip corresponds exactly to that.
I will still test one against say NBAC. Everyone knows that the factory measurements does not know how it sounds. We don't know the distortion of these units yet, so everybody calm down .. LOL. But I am less excited than I was which kinda sucks.
something is fishy, open the pdf-file on the same page and compare it to the graph on the page, very different looking, one is from july and the other from october, rev0 vs rev1
Hi,
Notice that 6.5" teXtreme drivers share the same graph as the 8" FR unit. So there might be some graph mix-up at the SB site.

Good catch - at least based on the date it seems to be exactly the same image. A mix-up definitely seems possible.
And a few pics...
I wonder what the break-up bump >15k looks like in non-marketing coated measurements.

The TX graphs on the webpage has been restored and is now what we have seen via rev.1 in the datasheet.

Eminence is very confident in this material, they call it the "no brainer" 🙂
They did:"High speed of sound and acoustical figure of merit make this material a “no-brainer""
I just have no idea what the rest of the sentence means.

Audiophile jibber-jabber, along the lines of "fast bass".
