Snap in

Quanhao-

Thanks for all your work on this project. Are the PCB holes for the filter cap big enough for snap in Cap legs? They should be able to accommodate snap ins for the values that some will use. I am thinking 3300-4400 uF Nichicon KG and Mundorf M-lytics.

As a schematics draft looks OK now, the first reg's Rset table using a BJT in CCS is misleading though. 10R=65mA 5.6R=116mA 3R3=197mA 1R8=361mA, copy that there. The other tables for regs using LEDS are ballpark OK for tolerances. I mentioned that before. I also maintained in previous posts that there must be a prototype full test even though V1 is generally proven trusty to work easily in most layouts. Its common practice to make a prova generale. I can't repeat it more I guess. I had obligation to review the theoretical draft since it carries my design frames, but practical layout and testing stuff is your obligation to be followed in serious fashion and ensure success.
