Really seems he trust in Salas design & Quanghao quality PCBs and prices...
That's a given for anyone who shows interest in 10 PCBs (myself included). 😛
There will be 4 regulators on each PCB? 40 regs for 10 PCBs? Building an analogue computer?😀
Anyway, see a successful prototype first. The V1 class is robust with normally 130deg phase margin for the full Mosfet and 47uF lytic ONLY output cap, but you never know with each new layout and parts, especially with remote sensing. BJT shunt part has been used by members before on 3V chips with success reports, by me only on motors and heaters. Its typical for the many times made V1, but essential procedure to make proto when to make several copies. Devil can even hide in a reversed cap designation on solder mask, you never know. I also advise IRF9520/520 Q1 for testing on the proto. If no problems, its an appropriately better HF PSRR Q1 CCS part. IFRF9540 stays for shunt, don't play there.

Salas V1.0 remote sense is ultra-stable (others & I in the forum can 100% guarantee), we are finishing the correct schematic & layout, of course we make a beta version to test that all is OK, experts in layout are welcome to help us when Quanghao finish is layouts before to do the beta proto.

If I understand well your advice for the proto is Q1 9520 positive rail / 520 negative rail & Q4 (your schematic) Q6 (Quanghao schematic) 9540 + rail / 540 - rail, right?
As CCS Mosfet, yes. No worries for different Qx designations from several schematics.😀 9540 has high gfs and that counts across rails. 9520 has less Ciss, Crss and that helps in CCS.

Hey guys,
What about the idea to create a GB for mosfets IRF9520+IRF9540 positive rails & IRF520+IRF540, these components are the most expensive part of the regulators but if we buy in quantities at Mouser or DigiKey can get a lower price?

Hello!
Please calm down, I need to have the advice of Salas and circuit layout design, please give me more time!
good design should not be a bad PCB design
Very thank you!
Quanghao.
After being Salas showed me his standard designs, I draw the circuit diagram for you to see!
Thanks Salas!
Thanks all!
Bravo Quanghao, fantastic & hard work, you have tied Source Q1 to R1 as Salas advice super also you added the current set in each regulator Vin needed, wow excellent!!!!
Only I see that you left in version 5-35V & neg the R3 100R & Salas posted is not necessary with remote sense possible you left if people don't connect the regulator with remote sense?
Thanks all.
Can IRFP9240 works too?
Yes IRFP9240 for positive regulators, IRFP240 for negative regulators.🙂

IN THE LAYOUT, I PUT FOR LEG IRFP 9240 and 240!
thanks

This time I see QH watched better my advice posts here.
On first reg from top he did not see that RadJ for current is Vbe/R1 though. So the Radj for current setting short guide he shows can not be the same as for the LED Regs below. R1=10 Ohm for the first reg would give 65mA for instance. So calculate with 0.65V/R1 for that circuit.
Remote sensing is good for all if practical. Its good if you can choose on layout by closing the circuit locally or not on board.
Those TO-247s are very good especially for heavier current, the TO-220s are economic but don't burn more than 15W on them on any sink.
Nothing more to add, check a prototype and wishing good luck guys!
I don't see reason to use to-220 fets - 240/9240 are proven
also Led In series with VR1 Is a good option In Under 5V regulator
you always can jumper If not need It

QH wrote above he would layout for both small and bigger Mosfets.
No, having an LED in the first one will not let it go as low enough as it can for Vout. You can always substitute a strong 2.4Vf LED instead of the trimmer for fixed 3V on the other hand as it is. Its an ''on'' indicator too. It would take 1K VR1 to surely can go 5V also sans LED, given the average 2SK170BL IDSS.
