Amplifier comparison
Music reproduction is at very high clase.
Better amplifier isn't something that all of us can agree.
This requires an extended number of blind test in a well insulated room,Using top quality speakers and a number of << golden ears>> listeners
Sorry i can do nothing about this.
I'm building,testing,publise the results,fine tuning if nessecery.
I amn't good into bla-bla.😉
If you personally haven't heard, you never know nothing about!
Just my opinion.😉
SA2015 is a complete amplifier comming with a very well documentation, using common parts.Hi thimios!! What about this amp? It's better than Peeceebee?

Starting the wiring
I'm about to start wiring the amplifier.
I have to examine two options.
First option, all the wires on the base plate.
Second, all the wires under the base plate, between the base plate and bottom aluminium
cover.
The second option give more clear inner look but good hole isolation materials required.
Opinions please....

Don't run single wires through holes in a steel/iron plate.
You must couple the flow and return and run the close coupled pair through a hole, if that's what you need.

Sorry if not clear,i mean twisted wires passing throu the same hole....that's why i'm looking for good quality isolations ,Don't run single wires through holes in a steel/iron plate.

not cheap rubbers

A rubber or plastic grommet is fine. If you feel you need extra protection, slip a piece of tight fitting two core outer (from a mains cable) over the pair where it passes through the grommet. Or a couple of layers of heat shrink.
I would mount the toroids along the midle axis starting from front to rear to maximize the distance toroid <=> amplifier. You also would have more space to add vertical iron shields...

Yes,good idea but there isn't enough space.I would mount the toroids along the midle axis starting from front to rear to maximize the distance toroid <=> amplifier. You also would have more space to add vertical iron shields...

SA2015 Wiring
My first care is putting the toroidal as far as possible from amplifier's input.
As i can't find a better solution i will try the previous configuration, if this fail(audible hum)i will try to rearrange the trafos.
I haven't chosen where is the front and where the rear panel yet.

toroids directly behind front panel. amplifier outputs show to front panel to keep the inputs far away from toroids but short to input terminals. housekeeping circuits above toroids or near back panel or between power supply. vertical iron shelfs between amplifier and powersupply/toroids.
I have examined this, but the trafos height is 11cm ,close enough to enclosure's internal height (12cm).Thimios, how about one on top of the other with a thick nylon and rubber spacing ?
Look at post#90.

Thimios, can you not reduce the size of the spacers between the traffos and mount them with the wiring to the front panel. That would be ideal ! Just be careful of a short with the mounting bolt.
Some mechanical progress

Bravo Thimios, it's a great job!
Just one thing, if your fuses are breaking make sure you can change them easily.
