REV33: Here's some snake oil for you to sink your teeth into

That's a bot article. The SEC filing shows that they did a $1.5MM offer and sold $676K.

Form says 506(b), not (c).

Previous name gives an EMRes Technologies, Inc. that files in 2014 offering $2.9 million and selling $2.9 million.

So they start out as EMRes Technologies, sell $2.9 million in shares, change the name two years later and ask for $1.5 million, sell a bit over $600k and all we've got is a gibberish patent and some cheap plastic dongle?

Is it just me or does something smell funny here?

UPDATE: Tyll informs me that Dennis has sent him a couple of REV33s to play with. So once the electrical analysis is finished on the unit you guys purchased, we can go ahead and crack it open and see exactly what's inside. Tyll can do the acoustic measurements using the units he has.

UPDATE: Now that the REV33 has arrived, I can divulge that the Secret Shopper was SY (though it was purchased in his wife's name). SY has been out of town most of the week but he's back home now and hopes to start the analysis this weekend.

Starting point would be the output resistance of the IEM belt packs as typically used.
