Reference DAC Module - Discrete R-2R Sign Magnitude 24 bit 384 KHz

Actually Audio Grade toroids from toroidy.pl have electrostatic shield between primary and secondary windings.

If one want to reduce radiation, could try Audio Grade V2 which are additionally encapsulated in metal case.

As far as reudcing AC line junk I got spectacular results with Finemet Beads.

the audio grades are nicely done and the s/s dome could be considered for exterior eyecandy

Better off with the split bobbin mounted remotely in my unhumble opinion.

Would you recommend the entire power supply section to be isolated in another enclosure or just the transformer? Either way, would something like a 7-pin DIN plug or the like be enough to transfer the power between enclosures?

Just worried about the relative size of the two things, as the DAM1121 won't be that large and neither will the transformer so two smaller enclosures won't be as efficient as one large one.

Other than that, would something like a mu-metal shield be enough to isolate either kind of transformer if everything's placed in a single enclosure? Not necessarily a must but it would be good to know just how much I sacrifice by sticking with the same chassis.

Any Toroid is just fine as long as you filter the incoming mains hash with a common mode choke. The ones I use are here: 3pcs Siemens Line EMI Filter Compensated Choke 6 8MH 1 2A | eBay

Please Help me. Make a crossover.

Hi Member friends, I got three Soekris DAC, Two 0,2 and one 0,5% in view to implement with a nanoDigi for make a four or three way crossover. Reading over and faster today I found is possible to make filter inside of the Soekris avoiding the NanoDigi, Somebody can suggest how to implement it? Design of LP band pass and HP filters ?
Best Regards and Thanks in advance.

Thanks to a helpful soul, I looked for in the thread but I couldn't found any. Please Tell to me if is possible.

Best Regards Gentlemen

Very nice one. A silly question. If I run the dam with digital Xover, what are the options to feed the dac boards.

I guess the source should go through USB board, but it should multiplex the channel by the number of Xover points+y.

Is there any board apart from multi channel diy in hk multi channel board, which can do this?

How brazen is that! But big words, also have their price hihi. 40 years ago, I still have everything built in cigar boxes, if I had known the wood in 2016 is worth more than gold, I would have kept them all, hihi...

free delivery though and comes in a briefcase🙂

im sure they have an elite client base for this and that aint any of us
good sound, good looks and expensive providing bragging rights🙂

Hihi, next month is the high-end in Munich, as you can see quite a lot of such "magical" things. But the best thing about the show are usually not the products but the prophets who advertise them and the slightly naive disciples that they tear you out of his hands. A small pebble gets the name "Magic Stone" and is immediately worth more than gold. But we do not understand that, the sound improvement with pebbles among the devices is naturally so large that it is almost impossible to pay with cash, hihi.

No, the idea is one input and to daisy-chain the signal through the other DAM boards.

That's how it works sometimes indeed.

However, for fun, go to your kitchen, find a metal tray for backing an apple pie, find enough very small pebbles in your garden to fill the tray with it and put it on top of your dac, pre-amp, etc. More likely than not you will hear the difference. Unless your audio rack provides perfect vibration isolation and your hifi equipment does not generate any vibrations itself.
