Hello,
I made a drilling plan for the Q17-Turbo. The board can fit in a 90mm height chassis.
Q17-TURBO-Drilling.pdf
A minimum of 6 holes must be drilled.
Have a nice week-end,
Stef.

Hello stef,
Didn't you measure the Slew Rate of the Q-17 Turbo? It would be interesting to know ...
Does the selection of the capacitor at position C7 affect the resulting sound quality?
I'd like to order the PCBs (Q17-Turbo) next month. 🤔
Thank You!

Hello Tibi,
In JLCPCB I put into production the latest PCB version (2.8), for the Q17 amplifier for 2 pairs of transistors.
The coil was designed with very small gaps, so the JLCPCB had to enlarge the gap for me. It threatened to merge...

PCBs are already at home, so I hope it will be OK after modifying them!

The plates are made of 2U thick copper.

Hello,
I intend to match my stock of FQA transistors. I intend to mount the FQAs on my second board by matching the FQA transistors and see if that changes a few things (for the better) in the measurements (distorsion).
Do you think the usual value of 170mA to match is ok for this or would it be useful to use another value more suitable for Q17?
Stef.

Hello,
It will be hard to make a pair of FQA36P15. The P-Channel has a large dispersion compared to the N-Channel and I have one FQA36P15 that is not stable so eliminated.
I'm waiting for 4 more FQA36P15s and I have to unsolder the FQAs I soldered on my Q17-Turbo board for the matches too.

Steff,
In the end I'll go for your 1.3 mini version because I like it better and it's more compact. PCBs (2oz) from JLCPCB are already on their way to me, ...
Today I also finished the speaker protectors that I will use on the Q17. If anyone wants I can provide the gerber files.
For +50V power supply must be used stabilizer with LM317HVT designation

Hello,
You can always disassemble the components later if you change your mind. 😵
Best match for C7 here : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/164258731098
To my knowledge, these are the only ones to have Wima MKP2 1uF in stock.
Stef.
EDIT: I also received the two models of speaker protection too. The big one I knew and a little cheap version for less powerful amps.

You have all the BOM references in this html file that you can download to your PC and open with a Browser.

The output of the relay should be of the highest quality, which can not be said about the ones from aliexpress, ...Hello,

The BOM doesn't show me at all, I only have it as HTML code. I also tried a second browser, but still the same error. Other files display correctly for me! 🤣You have all the BOM references in this html file that you can download to your PC and open with a Browser.

Hi!
Not sure that Farnell will one day have missing FQA et FQP parts.
Stef.
Close up pictures of the Q17-Turbo coil.
12.5 turns of 1.5mm2 wire around a 13mm tube.
