As a great admirer of 41Hz products,
I sure would like to see some pics completed amps
or "step by step assembly",
either of this newer amp module(s) or others. :smash:

Hope some person from www.41hz.com reads your post, Eddy
;)
when i went there today (for first time)
i did not know this is a SWEDISH Website/Company
but it is

" ... did not know this is a SWEDISH Website/Company ..."

I believe that that would be a net plus ... since many European companies are making some very high quality audio equipment ... Examples: the best FireWire connected DAC / ADC comes from The Netherlands, some of the better DAC chips come from England and Denmark, there are several excellent microphone makers in Europe ... and the European audio consumer market has all but standardized on DVD-A for media, and IMOP, a vastly superior playback scenario for music.

.........
Made in Sweden .. some times not too bad
and Scan-Speak, Vifa & Peerless
are all from our brotherland Denmark: http://www.tymphany.com/
Tymphanys Peerless, Vifa and ScanSpeak drivers are known worldwide
as the finest quality and most consistent available,
designed and manufactured in Denmark since 1926.
Tymphany group is a technology and innovation leader, holding 26 transducer design patents with an additional 42 patents pending.

... but California and USA ... gives us a few nice audio things, too
( a few!!! ) )

I made a little amp with the 41Hz Amp3. I still have it and use it to compare my own class D amp design to. This is far from fancy, the entire bottom plate became the heat sink.

Here it is with a mp3 player as a source. With a 12v battery it would make a nice portable system for picnics. Now what would I do for speakers that could work with 10 watts of power?

I use a lap top switch mode power supply with it.

10 watts of power is an awful lot !!!!
for normal sensitivity speakers (87-90 dB SPL)

if the SPL is not enough for your picnic
* SPL = sound pressure level
then you get some Low impedance (4 Ohm ) higher sensitivity Full Range speakers
.. say sensitivity >= 92 dB SPL

Fostex have a good range of different sizes Full Range woofers.
Buy one that can work well in one SMALLER BOX for your portable 'picknic' use.
Try to get one with at least 90 dB SPL and 4 Ohm.
