Fantastic style, Gary!
What display is this using? Do you have a thread about your preamp?
Hi Andersonix. It uses a Newhaven 4x20 OLED display that you can get from Mouser...

It’s driven by an Adafruit Feather microcontroller.
I don’t have a build thread, sorry. Just the pics I’ve shared here and in the BA2018 thread.

I am also interested in any further details on your display, I would like to build...
It's only taken me about 7 years since I started this project, but I finally got the heatsink cut down to a slightly less ridiculous size. I may cut it down a little further, or possibly into two smaller individual heat sinks. But at least now I have something manageable to work into an enclosure.

Hmm, is all good but...
It's better to turn the PCBs by 90°, with the fets pointing down and also below the mid point of the heatsink.
That way you'll get a better, much better heat spread.
Also, each channel (either in L/R stereo, balanced mono or parallel mono) draws roughly 1.5Amps, or with 24VDC PSU that is 36Watts.
So your heatsink must handle 72W combined.
I think it might be a bit too small for the task.

Thanks Community !
where did you got boards for F7 ?
Some talk about where the heat generating device should go on the heatsink, if your heatsink is mounted horizontally you would want that device in the middle, correct?
I have no ink myself but I have always been fascinated by how “lo-fi” tattoo guns look. It’s like the design hasn’t changed since they were invented and what’s with having all the works (coils etc) exposed? 🙂
Nice amps.
Nice amps.
