The Pass HPA-1 is a mere 14lbs (6.35kg).
So it is not even half a proper headamp.

Have you seen a >16kg headamp from Nelson or Wayne or Jam, or ... ?

maybe I wasn't clear enough - they (PL) are helping their customers to smuggle new equipment in house , without She Boss seeing it

Of course that I know for PL headamps of 34.7kg

before LiIon era , they were even heavier

Jam is so loving his , that he even put it on small wheels , to be able to listen all day

My build is , in fact , pretty much quick'n'dirty approach.....

sound is good , everything stable , no problems

...I am also doing a WHAMMY ...at my son's request, that is in a rush....

The DAO in the picture is a little under 7kg with lid on!

Here a couple pictures of my almost complete M2X amplifier. Coming from Class AB (updated Hafler DH-500) and Class D (Pioneer SC-35) I now see what all the Class A fuss is about . It really sounds wonderful and I can listen for hours without tiring. Thanks to everyone who has made this DIY project possible, especially Nelson!

Another ACA lives and my first exposure to anything Pass related. . I’ve been sitting on this sine June of last year due to moving and other obligations and the fact I didn’t have a preamp. Then I realized I could just use my NAD C320Bee as a pre. Running into some old Polk 5B monitors and it does quite well. Playing David Gilmour live in Gdańsk. Smooth.......
