Pedja Rogic 1541A DAC Custom-Wound Transformer European Union Group Purchase

But presumably you have to pay to get the transformers shipped to you. Dividing that shipping cost by the number of transformers, adding the cost of 1 transformer, then doubling the result for 2, and then adding the 28,8€, will come to the total cost I need to reimburse you.

And did you say there's an extra charge for paying you through PayPal?

Hi,
I've been contacted by Tector's technical staff.

Unfortunately there is a problem about the position of the windings, that in a encapsulated trafo must come out from a common hole in the shell. The large number of windings moreover makes almost impossible to wind them in order to have a specifical order of the output wires, but sinche they will come out say in a 90° space or less I think this becomes secondary.

Of course the label will report the color code of the windings.

I confirmed the order.

Cheers

Hi All,

I just saw the message above this morning. It IS possible to have separate exits and the secondaries in the order you want. Antrim did this for us. The bottom of the shell was notched to take the secondary wire. If I were doing this again, I'd ask for the shells to be sent to me, I'd drill the holes (dor neatness) and return the shells for potting. THey could be doing the winding while I had the shells. Or you could pot the trafos yourself, I suppose - All of this is probably a pain, but you'd get the finish you want.

I hope this helps - not wishing to muddy the waters, but I think your requirements lie in the "difficult to achieve" pile rather than the "not possible". I'd have another word with them.............

Cheers

Jon 🙂
