The chokes won't be on the pcb. There will be screw terminals for connecting them.
Holger,
thank you for this information.
Sorry for pushing this so much, but which size do you expect the pcb's?
Christoph
The boards will bei for one channel, can't tell you about the size yet. Certainly a lot smaller than the signal pcbs.
I am making progress. Expect a first draft on Friday.
About the size: The boards will be a little bigger than I had expected, be prepared for something around 100 x 160 Millimeters per channel.

Next try.
This is the first draft of the Paradise Preregulator Board according to Joachim's schematic.
The board is about 157 by 81 Millimeters yet. Inputs on the left, outputs on the right, choke connections on the upper and lower edge.
For now, I just ran the ground connections of both parts completely independent.

Cool. And pretty universal. Maybe you could add a few Holes in different spacings for Caps & Diodes. But i see that this would lead to loosing Eurocard size maybe which is strongly undesired.
Another point: would it make sense to add a board for the High-Volt side with softstart, dc-removal, fusing comparable to what Dragan did in his Supplys for the ono?

If you move the Input Connectors to the corners, you could probably gain enough space to move the Coils more to the left to gain a little space where the caps & Diodes are ?

Maybe not a bad idea :rolleyes.... implement some Fuses ?
Absolutely. Mounting TO220 diodes should be possible.... add a few Holes in different spacings for Caps & Diodes
You are right, but that would consume the space needed for the mounting holes.f you move the Input Connectors to the corners...
Soft start? Hardly needed here. DC removal? Negotiable 😉.to add a board for the High-Volt side with softstart, dc-removal...
Thank you guys,
I appreciate your work on this project very much!
Just a newbie question to the chokes (B82724a),
they also have a vertical B82724j model with a smaller
footprint.
Will it work? If so, some room could be saved for
the fuse?

There are other common mode chokes ( also from Panasonic ) that will work. Some prefer vertical. I always use the same Talema chokes but i do not see a reason why another choke would not work as well.
Holger may not be able to make a PCB that contains all options though. On the other hand the Talema is cheep and works.

Reichelt only stocks the flat type, so I stuck to that one. But it won't be a problem to add pads for the vertical type as well.
Here are some R-Core transformers :

I would say the most economical solution is to use Block split bobbin transformers with 2 x 15V . 4 of this transformers can be combined for 2 x 2 x 30V AC.
I think 30V is optimum and 28V is minimum if we want to use the 40 Ohm Hammond coils.
