Block transformers should be available in other countries.
There is also the option to use Hammond transformers.
They have a 2 x 28V version that should work. I bought it at Digikey.

I would like to use R-Core for the transformer.
I wouldn't want to weaken the board's structural integrity with a precut, especially when there's transformers involved.
Can we agree on a straight line for cutting along when the transformer section isn't needed? And some extra fixing points?
