I've also got a Sony TA-70 packed away. t was my first REAL hi-fi amp, and I go it at a ridiculous price at a closing down sale in 1974.
It's got a crackling in both channels which got worse over time.

I'm looking for s schematic in order to try and restore/fix the little amp. Any pointers as to where I can a schematic?

Thanks

Oh, and may all the visiting football teams to teh FIFA World Cup do well!

A tuner from a generation before...
I am a lover of PHILIPS Vintage Components ... 😉

... also great devices. To get a complete overview of all Philips audio components is very hard (exactly like Magnavox). About post #99 I have listed some URLs. But nothing of this is complete, only certainly parts are to find.
As I know, Philips had three lines for audio applications:
1) home audio/hifi
2) studio equipment for recording and monitoring
3)a. instrumental amplifying (Guitar amps, amp modules for organ/electro piano, powered mixers)
3)b. public address (PA, ELA)
Perhaps you know sources on the web, where are to find all exist audio components from Philips between 1955 and 1985 (but without used tube/valve power amps, only solid state power amps).

DCA-1400 from 1970 and DCA-1300: Sanyo's first Solid State Integrated Amp?

Sanyo's early models DCA1400 and DCA1300 without tubes maybe one of their first transistorized integrated amp models (company name in those days: Sanyo-OTTO).

Sanyo's Portable Stereo Music Center G-2607H like KLH Eleven from post #12 and #13

I am not shure, at which time was launched the G2607-H (G2607H) and G2615N (G-2615N) from Sanyo. But I think arround 1965-1967.

NATIONAL PANASONIC SUPER PHONIC MODEL SG725FL from 1960

From the ebay auction Item number: 200460642158 I have found this National model "SG-725FL" ("SG 725 FL" "SG725 FL") from 1960 with integrated solid state power amplifier equipped with 2SB178 in the output. That means older than KLH's model Eleven from post #12 and #13.

National SA-71 National SA-40/SA-54 from 1960 - really Solid State Amplifying?

By this models no tube/valve types are mentioned.
For the SA71 some germanium transistors, but for the SA40/SA54 also no transistors.
If no tubes in use by the power stages, this models must be Japan's first solid state amplifiers.
Or the year 1960 isn't right (means "around the 1960 in-the-late time" the last months of 1960 itself or the same than "late 60'th" - i. e. perhaps 1969 ? - I don't know exactly).
