Saba/K+H (Klein & Hummel) Telewatt TS-100 A uses RCA 2N2147
very interesting - thank you for this advices. Also supplement to post #8 from this thread.
Can you post the last site (49) separately as PDF in higher resolution?
Here some additional pics of this device in better resolutiom from German ebay auction, item No 230479417592:
Hello,
for those who can read some Italian, I'd like to attach an article I've written some time ago about it, on an old radio magazine named "Antique Radio Magazine".
Cheers

Thank you TiefBass,
I don't have a true TS100 schematic, BUT a TS100 is identical to a TS90 (schematic attached) with a different output stage (section attached) and a higher PS voltage (45 V instead of 32 V)
Cheers

Best thanks for this schematic. About post #66, #36 and #40 there are also amp models with RCA's germanium power devices 2N2147 and 2N2148.Thank you TiefBass,

But the TS-90A (TS 90 A TS90A TS90) is also an interest amplifier

I may be wrong, but I haven't seen mentioned what seems to be the first Stereo Quasi Complementary amplifier ...😉

yes, because I have filed this by post #54 and #80 aboutI may be wrong, but I haven't seen mentioned what seems to be the first Stereo Quasi Complementary amplifier ...😉

have a look also to post #1 here
National Panasonic SG 999
May I add this japanese music center with disappearing turntable.
This set has an EV-like output stage and all germanium transistors. Nice looks but, unfortunately, it's been laid out very badly and it's a real PITA to work on, components are nearly impossible to repair.
TiefBass, you seem to have a very nice collection, it would be nice to meet you ...

The showed device collection isn't from me.
If I had this collection (along with those from in post #1 mentioned thread's), I would have one of the world's largest collections.
Unfortunately, the devices are not shown my own collection, but from my virtual photo collection, which I has stored over the years in my computer disc.
If the overview is big enough, I can make better a decision, which components I would like to have.
What means "EV-like" maybe "Electro Voice" like? what is a "real PITA"?
The "SG-999A" isn't difficult to repair, if no mechanical stuff (like tonarm) is damaged. What is exact your error description? You mention "components are nearly impossible to repair". Which component?
BTW - Thanks for the photo and schematic. There isn't to find online.

Solid State Integrated Amplifier from Cabasse - who knows the Model?
This solid state integrated amplifier from Cabasse I have also found by chance. It is equipped with germanium power devices. Perhaps it was the first solid state amp from this brand. Schematic and model No wanted.
Very special for that time is the dual monaural Baxandall equalizer unit so as the icon for the balance regulator. This amp haven't to do with that one from last (third) advertisement photo.

Yes, AD149 germanium transistors and a interstage transforme, provide them with out of phase signals. Connecting the load via a 400 uF electrolytic capacitor, inserted in the overall feedback loop...
Tandberg Huldra 8, Huldra 9 and Huldra 10
Tandberg Huldra 8 until Huldra 10
Huldra 8 was Tandbergs first receiver with a germanium solid state (transistorized) power amplifier unit
Huldra 9 uses tubes only for the IF stages
Huldra 10 was Tandberg's first "all silicon" solid state receiver

Hallo! I need your help to find a spare part of National SG 999 turntable. All works but the turntable cartidge It seems to be damage, I think is not a stylus problem. What should I do? Is possible to change all cartidge component? With what?
Many thanks!
PS Thanks for the circuit diagram

Hello Dino
since we both live in Milano, we could try to swap the cartridge. My SG-999 still has weak output, but as I said, it's hard to access the AF board, and postponed the repair.

In post #4 you show a picture of an RCA transistor with the number 39414. It is not a germanium device. It is a silicon NPN very similar to the 2N3055. I bought a box full of them in 1969 from a surplus store in Miami. They were from a military auction. I Still have some of them and they have the exact same lot and date codes as the part in your picture. I used them to make audio amplifiers from 1969 to about 1980 when better devices became cheap.
I also have an old Voxson HR 213 receiver that was made in Italy around 1970. It is a 20 WPC receiver covering the FM broadcast band only. It used a Germanium PNP and a Silicon NPN output transistor paired in a true complementary symmetry output configuration. It also had a Jfet in the FM tuner. The unit is very small so that heat related failures were common. The units sounded very nice when they worked.

The Radiola amp is probably the same as Philips 22GH925.

you will find some cover pictures of vintage RCA databooks.
in which of them I will find the data sheet of the 39414?

This is clearly a "rebranded" Philips product!
