Do the bottom two left contacts on the pin receptacle needs to be bridged as it looks like they are with solder in the picture?
Have received today a bit redesigned version of Ian's DAC hat with "large" RCAs and receptacles usage possibility:

I am trying to get the transformers working for the first time. I've set them up as I've shown in the attached with a Buffalo 9038 DAC. I haven't soldered yet as I am going to try with receptacles on the PCB for use with Ian's DAC so maybe the contact isn't great, but I am only hearing very faint sound that sounds very thing when the DAC is turned all of the way up.
Does anything appear to be set up in correctly in the attached pictures?

Hello John, it was my own version for testing purposes only as my DAC board from Ian has a separated outputs which I manually connected to unused side contacts of a header. As far as I remember I have desoldered them back. But if such bridges existing on your board, then please remove it (desolder it).Do the bottom two left contacts on the pin receptacle needs to be bridged as it looks like they are with solder in the picture?
Looks OK, but... Are you sure that transformers pins are on the needed pads (no corresponding photo to understand this point)?I am trying to get the transformers working for the first time. But most likely there are no jumpers from pin 10.
Please accept my apologies, but there on the left board I made a mistake when ordering the boards. I don't use XLR in my system, so I didn't notice right away. Please cut with a knife as shown here to make adequate use of the balanced output on the left board. Thank you!

I just tried soldering the receptacles and still get very very faint thin sound when listening out of a pair of HD 650 headphones and full am. Not sure if something is set up improperly, but I will try with Ian's dac as well.
Attached is a picture of the set up.

THe numbering is correct.

I have edited previous message. Pin 10 is not connected now. Close/solder/bridge both gaps please. These gaps around pin 10 are needed for another version of transformers with two primaries.

Thanks. So if I solder/bridge the pin 10 circle and the two squares nearby that will do it?
I'm not sure about cutting the contact on the top side, but if that's not necessary I'll just bridge around pin 10.

Yes, as the negative pin of transformer (pin10) is simply nowhere for now.Thanks. So if I solder/bridge the pin 10 circle and the two squares nearby that will do it?
It should work, but the signal will be transferred to your AHB2 as SE signal (negative pin3 of XLR is grounded now to GND-pin1 of XLR), it is not the balanced transferring in this case. left side can sound quiter, depends on your Amp internal circuit.I'm not sure about cutting the contact on the top side, but if that's not necessary I'll just bridge around pin 10.
Ok, so I need to cut the trace. Does the right side have the same issue or only the left?
I bridged the Pin 10 pads on the right side and now get sound. Thank you!
First impression (out of one channel) is more towards the twisted pear Legato output but clearer. The mercury is nice but the high were bright on my system and it sounds like the transformers will be a good match.

No, right PCB is OK, issue is just on the left board.
Thanks for impression, but please take in mind that transformers are new, the burn-in time is needed.

@Bisesik,
you can put the latest designed product information link in signature? This will make it easy for those who join later to quickly get the most important information.

@Ivan,
Can you introduce the latest version of the transformer and PCB board? I haven't tracked your development progress for a while

I am always offer the latest version of transformers once anybody puts the order. I will try to make some clearance regarding PCBs later...
I haven't placed an order, but occasionally look back, just waiting for the new version to meet my needs. My requirement is to replace the IV of twistedpear audio, but the board designed by Ian is not sold separately.
What is wrong with wire connection like here Output transformers for DACs
Two separate boards for left and right sides close to the Buffalo board.
p.s. Instead of wires, I can make "protrusions" of the PCB if necessary.

I just do not see benefits to place my transformers below the Buffalo board. They are big enough including XLRs\RCAs and really hard to save a space without complicating the mutual fastening of the DAC board.
Above the Buffalo looks too complicated as well, especially if to look at this possible compilation:
The most compact (in XY area) will be something like this, but it will take ~6cm vertically under the Buffalo board:
So, it is needed to choose what is better for the Buffalo based DACs...

It would be better if you can design the Buffalo IV adapter based on Ian to modify for bisesik's transformer , as shown in the attached picture. The transformer is only suitable to be placed under the Buffalo, because the transformer is heavier and several LDO modules need to be inserted above the Buffalo.

The most important obstacle is that for users who have already purchased Mercury I/V Stage, I will reduce my willingness to change to other IVs. First of all, the disadvantage of distributed placement is that it will take up more space, and the connection line must be welded to be more stable, but it is very difficult to separate again.
