Yes, it gets good press. I put the down to the excellent performance of the driver. Reverse engineering shows a poorly designed sort of ML-V.
Put the 3FE2x into Frugel-Horn Lite to maximize bass performanceand you will have exceeded the Vivace. The bass does go low enuff to make you think the bass is there. It isn’t. Clear when you play teh same cut with a speaker that will do the fundementals.
Not with the 3F2x but the FHL has, on more than one occasion, had people coming back to listen not believing what they were hearing.

Would love to try a proper BLH. Getting the wood cut to specs is another matter though. I have been meaning to try laser cutting services that I came across.
Since we are at the topic, can the FHL handle two 3" driver? I might add an inductor on one for baffle step correction.
Oon
Not the FHL (unless you doubled the width or built the Twin. It has been specualted that 2 3s might work well in FH Mk3.
These horns do not need BSC. The horn gives sufficient gain to cover that. Fine adjustment made with distance form the wall and amount of damping used.

I have tried to connect minus and cabinet.
But it was like taken out the magic also.
I think it's better to connect amplifier ground?
I wish fostex use dragonfly cone...
Do you mean basket to - terminal Tamra ?
I tried basket and minus terminal again.
It feels a little add but much cleaner.
So I stay connected feeling better.
I might try Nandappe's ground solution next week.
Ahhh my room is too small and so much speakers already.

Fs of port ?
What is the Fs of the port ? How many damping material and what material ? Will you supply us with a more detailed sketch for the placement of the damping material ?

WA・GON is a box from the audio magazine.
The front, top, and bottom are walnut laminated wood(t20).
The sides and back are cherry laminated wood(t20).
The anti-resonance bar is not used.
The calculated value of the port is 65Hz.
Needle felt is pasted on the bottom, sides, and back.
The weight of the felt and other details have not been disclosed.

dear nandappe
thanks for the information. Did you made any recording with this particular box ? If yes will you give me a link (to be honest I like very much your tapered designs), just for comparison
