I seen some of those ,look impressive, I have 4 12" subs and 1 pevey 18" low rider, I would like to use,my next speaker buy ,I would like some B&C, I have been told that they will withstand anything you throw at them and the response is good, those DTC's look good too!
sono tubes huh ive always heard them called bass tubes here in the uk we used to steal i mean aquire pipes from building sites that were easily a inch and a half thick
these were pipes that were meant to be buried underground the bass was always extreme to extreme in fact

Well noSmoking...whatever you build; we're expecting something BIG - you being from Texas n-all.
LOL,Well duh!!!! just joking,
I am tempted to build 2 sonotubes and see how they sound,I have built 2 Papa pass F5 and 2 F5c,They got BEEF in 'em,The 50watt f5 will make some people leave the room T00 LOUD.lol they do sound clean and 2 F5c not sure about the watts ,my watt meter pegs at a 100 and it get's it there at about 11 o'clock,I am building water cooled heatsinks for it so I can crank up the bias ,waiting on parts to arrive,I have 2 of the new inuke 4000 ordered ,should be here in a week ,anyone used these new switching amps ? They do a good copy of the other ones out there at half the cost and I got 30 days to send them back,if they don't cut the mustard!
Tell me Stenwo123 how did you build them size and speakers ,ect.
A few pics of the old stuff ,sold the speakers from the chans to the postman,
Thanks,
NS

If you want to know how much potential power you can make just check the supply rail voltage, hook up a meter and see if it dips under high output.

155volts seems high; my buddy used to hook 120volt light bulbs to the rails demonstrate a amps power supply.
Now don't let the pic have you on the floor laughing, it is not the cookie monster.
I put a heavy 10" woofer in a 15" blue PVC pipe as shown a few post ago.
[I may get this back tomorrow]
There were two long ports for tuning, I don't know if you could fit a 12" and have the ports with the 15" PVC, they would have to be small.
I did also glue sand to the inside walls and back plate. If I was to build another one, I would slant the back plate.
woofer(s) model number - specs?

Well that's the look, and why I didn't keep them long. Used the same woofer in this box, which worked a lot better.
NS, I'm sure the DIY folks would be glad to review your plans, can't do much without the driver parameters.
If unknown, post a pic, someone might recognize it.

I don't know about the 10" Adrenalin, looks like it is for a very small box.
I'm sure this would work for you, would fit in the green 15" pvc nicely.
Dayton Audio RSS265HF-4 10" Reference HF Subwoofer 4 Ohm | eBay
buy it fast before somebody scoops it up (me 🙄)

Sonotubes do work fine as sub boxes. The ones I did about 30 years ago were sand filled. Expanding foam sounds like a very good idea. Round tubes tend to fail the WAF.
The RR reference sub is nice. I have one. If more than a very small room, you need two. I still prefer the Peerless XLS
