A warning to those thinking of sticking an Ametherm into a PCB: older datasheets show oval leads; new datasheets give only a single dimension. If some of them still have oval leads, the datasheet appears to be giving only the narrow dimension.
Might want to order one before getting a PCB made....

F4 mongrel beast variation.
Testing an F4 beast variation. 10kHz square wave.
If you have a very small amount of overshoot with your F4, then placing 1000pF across R24, and R25 completely cleans it up to perfection.
Don't do more than 1000pF though. You could possibly try 500pF (I haven't tried it ).
I tried 200pF but it wasn't enough, and 22nF didn't work anywhere near as well.

What's the function of R24 and R25? Are they a bootstrap to overcome the rail voltage loss of R22 and R5?
Just hooked up the F4 to a pair of high efficiency speakers, running CD player direct, no preamp. had to turn down the volume via CD remote.
Those half watt peaks are quite loud. Hahahaha
I guess I won’t be needing any voltage gain on those speakers.

I have the same problem, massive head, but just a few brain cells, the rest is infinite free space.
Hahaha

Got my AS32-20010s from Mouser. The leads are indeed oval (well, flat really). They measure 0.8mm x 2.4mm.
I made a Kicad footprint for them, if anyone's interested.

got my MS35-20010 from Bruder Generg
didn't made Eagle footprint , yet
🙂
disclaimer - accent is on Bruder Generg , ook MS35

Hey ZM, I also did a Kicad footprint for the AS35, but not having one in hand I wasn't able to verify the leads.
Are they round and 2.5mm in diameter?
Thanks,
Jeff.
