Awesome memories.
Music was incredibly exciting all through the 70's, 80's, and early 90's.
The number of incredibly awesome songs that were relesed on a weekly basis is unbelievable thinking now in retrospect.
We didn't know how good we had it.
No kidding!!
My son is 18 and can't understand why I keep listening to this "old stuff". I asked him if he has listened to the radio in the last 10 or 15 years....at least current music...enough said. Thank goodness for classic rock stations and the 70's and 80's channels on satellite. Oh and of course Jazz.

Aussie had great bands. Along time ago my brother in law used to take me to the Basement in Sydney, great session musicians from all over the world playing Jazz. I never heard Jazz till then and realised how cool it was.
Here's a Personal favourite.

Colin's solo work is also incredible, IMO. I "refound" his music years ago after he made a few cameo appearances on the US TV show Scrubs.
After all these years he still kicks butt. He even does the guitar solo, what a legend.

Funny I used to go in 90s too, don't know why he stopped taking me there. The only place we go now is the local Yeeros shop

@Luke - I was a freshman in college when that song came out. Ooooooh, if I only had that in my collection at the time.
I saw them play it live.
I realise now I was truly spoilt.
Aussie rock in the 80's is full of endless classics
