I don't think that it's equivalent..

Both are 1:1 transformers, but that's about it.. Still looking. Tried to contact SC, but they really isn't that helpful. :rolleyes:

What specifications are you trying to meet with the transformer?
The Murata transformer has been designed for digital audio according to AES/EBU standards if I'm not wrong. In that sense it is equivalent, it does the same job and it fits on the board. Perhaps you are digging deeper into these transformers. Very interesting to know.

- Farnell order code 9188673 SA series,
- Farnell order code 9189335 SH series,
- Farnell order code 1217615 SP series,
220 uF/10V
- Farnell order code 9189521 SA series,
- Farnell order code 9189289 SH series,
In data specification SP series is for audio aplications.

I would say SP first, then SH and SA.

Unfortunately Farnell caps are very expensive

These are great for the 220uF position. 180uF is OK too
