unless you go for nude metal foils......
I may have spent way to much on the resistors... oops!

yes, i was just checking apelizzo did that, and he did. I used 1 33r 2watt kiwame.
Thanks for checking me on those. It was a little confusing. If you follow the values on PCB one would end up installing 4 x 33R which is not right.
That's perfect for R23 and R24 on DAC board
Thanks 🙂
I was reading the datasheet and it seems the difference between MK132 and MK132V is the case (enclosure).
Cheers,
F.
for the coupling caps i am going with obbligato golds. . very neutral to my ears.
Where do you buy obligato gold capacitors?
For input coupling cap I use GAD-Viva MKP 0.01uF
For output I try Sprague "Q" PIO vs an MKP maybe Clarity.
Any suggestion?

Obbligato Premium Film 1.0uF 630V | Diy HiFi Supply
Once i test the Z-foil resistors i will share my source. I get the impression they are hand made from Vishays

Is it still possible to buy 2 of the salas shunt boards? or is it too late?
no late, The Salas shunt I have some board, If you want sent me by e-mail
thank!

So I've just ordered a couple of the Shunt PCB's from this thread for use in another Dac..
Since this is my first PCB build I'm looking over the parts list and was wondering what brand/type of resistors, caps and other components should I use??
I want good performance without paying silly prices if you know what I mean..

Really appreciate it.

All welcome.
Note the 56R you need 6 as you need to parallel on position R1, R7, R13 to obtain 28R. I had to juggle a lot on Farnell website to get the most reasonable component without having to buy 10 pieces if you need 2 or 3.
If anybody need codes for other boards let me know.

Obbligato cap.. very interesting. I've read the reviews and comparison and it looks like is the best for the money. Pretty close to the best Clarity at 1/4 of the price. I like when the guy described the sound as "analog".
About the input transformer...
- Scientificonversion SC947-02 with interwinding shield to reduce interwinding capacitance 16$ each

I've got something equivalent:
DA101C MURATA POWER SOLUTIONS Farnell code 1362398 $5.25
With the green led's, are they just a 3mm led like this one:
I got plain diffused 5mm green leds from Jaycar. You can also find from Farnell
