ddw,
When you know where you want me to send money for the batteries and extra pcb let me know in a PM and it'll be sorted out.
RE qusp edit, I'm not in a hurry if express doesn't work out then I'm really not concerned about it in the slightest.

me neither, i'm in no rush after this long what does a couple of days matter. i just thought it was worth mentioning, as ive had problems in the past. mostly its been with things with batteries in them, often lithium types, but i'm not sure they make a distinction or not and if using prepaid satchels if they wont allow it it could really screw things up if they are addressed already. so i'm suggesting you check it out on the phone before you seal the packages

DDW, thanks for that. Please send me the detail for me to pay. Really great that you step in to take over this GB.
Polak has also joined the list to be posted tomorrow.
Once the bags are in the post I'll PM the barcode number individually. I think Oz Post work on weekends during the last 2 weeks before Christmas so you should get it Monday.

for batteries, taken from Australia Post's Dangerous & Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide
now with lithium cells it specifically states that you cannot send by air and must package and label according to the guidelines in D10.2.3 - Lithium Batteries of the same literature, but you should still check before sending or you'll get a heap of packages returned or perhaps even destroyed, with a possible fine

D10.2.2 – Dry cell batteries (non-lithium batteries)
Dry cell batteries must be:
♦ removed from the appliance or device for which they were intended.
♦ inserted separately, if sent in the same postal article as the appliance or device
♦ packaged securely to prevent movement, so that the points cannot come into contact with each
other, preventing a short circuit.
I'm absolutely fine with waiting for a combined shipment with the front panel. Thanks again for all the work you are putting in. Above and Beyond.
The really good news:
Mistertaz
Vince3141
Beejones
MilSpec
Orders will be going in an express post bag tomorrow since its less than 500g (paid $10.56 for postage but costs $9.20).
The other really good news:
hochopeper (inc one extra PCB and qusp's batteries)
ianrt
safetydank
musical
zeffa
Orders will also be going express post tomorrow because I'll slip in the extra $5.51 (costs $12.55 but paid $10.56, but 'made' $5.44 from the first 4 guys).
Sashaw, EFHEATH, Coolhead, Neob, Nikon1975 (with four extra batteries), and bobkojek since you're all overseas I will wait until I get your front panel(s) before posting your kits unless you really want them sent straight away.
@Polak - Confirm you want 5 boards in total.
@Sqveak - Confirm your order.
@Insideout - Confirm components only and no PCB's.
The not so good news is the complete kit I paid for on Wednesday night is not here. What I think might be the case is BF has allocated it to someone who he gave a refund to, now I just need to find out who!
If your name has not been mentioned it means I haven't heard from you or I just missed it, either way send me a message so we can get this finished. I will chase up what I can from BF but it sometimes feels like an exercise in futility.
It looks like I have 'about' 12 batteries, 6 PCB's and 3 enclosures 'left over'. I say about because I haven't checked the other orders to see if they are correct, or my order.
DDW you have pm.
Its more than a bit sad how this has turned out regarding the unaccounted funds which seem to have been used as a personal overdraft account.
hochopeper some details for you're forensic work, -
My order was as per spread sheet except for 2 extra batteries that BF wanted to unload from his excess stock (6 total) so
2 - PCB (not ordered from ollie)
6 - batteries
2 - enclosures
2 - front panels (including machining)
2 - wallwarts
2 - sets of low noise resistors
For the above I paid $190.00 plus a "small tip" towards BF's efforts of $20.00, so the total amount I deposited directly into his CBA account was $210.00
This was confirmed by my post #88 on page 9 (the $ value of the tip was not revealed)
It would be good for BF to send you a copy of his bank statement from the begining of September to end of November, this would help match up peoples payments.
I know that some others also deposited a bit extra as a tip for the work he was putting in; it would be good to tally up exactly how much he received from each person (payments & tips) and work back from there.
The nightmare isn't over until we clarify the paper trail and hold BF accountable to any shortfall.
DDW & hochopeper we are all in-debit to the work you's have put in.
Cheers.

@dontdiewondering:
I thought that I did post a confirmation to the forum... on page 49 I think. Assuming default forum settings.
Although I did crash hard last night (sick) so I may not have hit the quick reply button.
I can confirm that I have ordered and paid for:
3x PCBs
3x Parts (no extras)
3x Enclosures
3x Panels
This is all shown in the current online spreadsheet. My entry in it is correct.

Ok, about to get started looking through this a bit more thoroughly.
As promised here is the privacy edited versions e14 and mouser orders for all.
e14 order
mouser order
PM me for originals if you'd like them. All I've done is snip the parts out of the e14 pdf and edited the names from the html of the mouser order before pdfing that.
Neither of these are new information and have both been posted before in the thread, though BF made you go on a hunt to use mouser website to get the order details.

DDW, just to confirm with my pm, that like EFHeath above (if ok), I prefer to wait for a combined postage of total kits, when the front panels are ready and that sometime in January will be fine with me, as I'm overseas until end of January.
You mentioned that the complete kit you paid for is not there, Does that mean there isn't enough kits to fill each persons order?, if so then we really do have concerns, please confirm that you have found the missing kit and that there were enough kits ordered to fill each persons order.
It seems there isn't enough funds left to cover the postage, so I will gladly send you funds to cover my postage, you've been put out enough already in rescuing this debacle.
Thanks Mate.
hochopper check your link above to the mouser order which reopens the same e14 link
Cheers.

About the postage if you use the ebay 500g click and send satchels, the postage with tracking is $5.50. The system is very easy, you pay the postage online and print out the address label which simply goes into a pouch on the satchel
I can supply the satchels if it will help keep costs down

The batteries are Ni-MH and are wrapped in plastic so no issue.
I will be getting everyone's (except the international orders) that I have addresses for checked and dropped it off at a Business Centre Post Office which will get cleared Sunday night.
I'll also PM those who I dont have addresses for since I'm still waiting for BF to respond.

@FREDtheDOG - that's what I'm doing for the majority of the postage. I don't have a printer at home so I grabbed the express bags for who I could to get it out. BF has already got the bags and for $5 for 20 its a pretty sweet deal.
Cheers

Tonight's post bought to you buy a few 1L cans of Asahi and The Pixies.
@DDW: Can you please let me know your preferred payment method, I'll send you the moneys for batts/pcb extras!
Onto finances.
Got distracted earlier today, had a look through all of this this afternoon and tonight though.
At the moment I'm working at looking at 5 key points of interest:
1. Original required qty
2. Ordered qty
3. Cost of ordered components
4. Refunded qty
5. Spares that should be left (some of these are theoretical values and may require BF contacting Mouser for them to post out replacement parts as per BF posts on pages 41 #405, 47 #468 & nikon1975 #427 on page 43)
I am trying to keep procurement costs from distribution/packaging costs separate. The way I see it everything is bought in bulk together then if someone has a larger order that requires shipping of larger order that is the individuals cost. Does anyone disagree?
At the moment the GST/customs cost ($AU212.05 - according to BF finances spreadsheet) along with refunds really seem like the costs that have bought BF unstuck. Once I've got a complete analysis setup I'll post some better info though. From what I can tell BF did not allow for GST/customs costs of the Mouser order being larger that $AU 1000. I am thinking this cost should be split evenly per $value ordered from Mouser for each individual since this cost is triggered once breaking total shipment value of over $AU1000.
Now I've got a few questions! Hopefully some answers on this might give us all some confidence in outcomes and minimise the amount of guesswork involved. Some may realistically be best answered by BlueFusion. I'll email him tomorrow about this.
[A] Does anyone know how many batteries were originally supposed to be ordered for willmax? Every version of spreadsheets that I have a copy of have him down for 0 in the batteries column but has a comment of 2 extra batteries in comments column 😕
Can anyone confirm other than BF's google docs spreadsheet that the pcbs cost $AU3.60 ea? Tomorrow I'll go for a dig through olli1324's gb thread and track down final prices. Does that include postage between UK and AU?
[C] Does anyone know what BF paid for the adapters for UK/AU plug packs?
[D] If anyone is able to post/PM me info on amount that they've paid and separate the amount that they gave in extra 'tips' to BF that may help track what's gone on.

some forethought would have avoided the import duty. 2 separate orders in 2 peoples name, as shipping is free from mouser on any order over 200aud. i never get stung it seems, even with orders several grand from any of my suppliers, perhaps because most are orders from the US and they are generally materials for production of product for export.
