Yesterday I "discovered" Chopin...I have been putting two records.
Today I found another classic : P.J. Harvey.
From a lp to tape copy, not mine.

Yeah, though I'm mostly a baroque and renaissance chap, if we considering classical music, I'm in love with Chopin. Particularly his nocturnes I like.
So If I could be travel backward in time, say, for three times, one journey I would like to bring some medicines to Frédéric.

This is one of those sound recordings, which deepened my interest in classical music, in my youth.
Yeah, and my eternal love with Bach's music!

I think that if someone is not familiar with the music of Allan Taylor, he is poorer something which can not be expressed in monetary terms.

Previous one was my 1111th post in this thread.
Perhaps, because for me music is the first one. (After my cats.)

I am forced to think of the past of the history, that the walls are not solved anything.
Why this would be change?

Years ago I tried to learn to play some of this music ...yeah honest.
After many months I now realise the Genius in the music..😀
If you can't play this you can't play guitar..not many guitar players then..
I'll stick to rock..soul and everything else..😀
If you have never heard of him take the time to listen..
Kids can do it so it must be child's play right..

I have listened to Django for many many years. I love Gypsy jazz and tried to play it too but I just didn't have the gift. I did get to see Stephen Grappelli twice in NYC when he would tour the U.S. Now I also enjoy the current breed of players that have taken Django's style to a new level. Just a few in no particular order:
Birelli Lagrene
Joscho Stephan
Adrien Moignard
Gonzalo Bergara
(Both Together)
Angelo Debarre & Stochelo Rosenberg (See if you can catch him breaking a string)
Tchavolo Schmitt & Fapy Lafertin

Just love it so I bought the album again...😀
Easier than trying to rip it..
