All Vbe I get in this stach are are between 0.78 and 0.8V..... way cool

Populating has begun..... It takes a while because I am somehow a methodic maniac 🙂

Nice, I'll wait patiently for your listening impression. First test the shunt regulators before you connect the preamp part, and then test it with no servo opamp in the socket. Finally when all functions normally insert opamp.

Yes, I did ask you before... and now I got the complete answer.

I feel awkward to be bothering you with such low level questions but it is my way to get into such difficult layouts.

I am really grateful you bother to answer.

I am now comfortable with the shunt..... but not completely at ease with the amplifier.

I still do not completely understand how the building block Q9 Q6 Q10 Q8 R18 R39 C2 works.... hope you do not mind to clarify me on that also 🙂

Q9, Q6 and Q10, Q8 make a Baxandalls pairs or supper pairs. More information about it you can find here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/anal...t-conveyor-voltage-amplifier.html#post3247524 where it was introduced first in to GainWire (mk1).

I will surely post it here once I get it working...

in my previous experiments I found that using 2SK117GRnstead of 2SK170BL for J1 does increase start catch up speed (Wanted final voltage is reached more fast).

Do you believe I could use the same devices in your schematic ?

I don't have that one but looking at the datasheet it could be used, but I don't expect any change in the speed(power shunt regulator) and don't see why that is important.
