No a lot at the minute, I'm still just waiting for the PCB's and heatsinks to turn up. From what the people were saying to me when I spoke to them the other day though, the PCB's should arrive some time early next week, and I think the heatsinks should be about the same. So Hopefully, I can sort out getting everything packed up ready to send out next weekend.

What is the best Diode for this application:
Aleph-X 2*100 watt's monoblock's?
There is a lot to choose from, so hopefully some of you guy's
can answer this. To list some options:
Mur1560 to220, Mur3020 to247 dualdiode, Rurp1560,
Rurp3060 to220 and propoply some more!
I also have some of the Fairchild Stealth diodes, R3060 to247,
this is a to247 single diode, but would that work in the rectifierboard? It is also made in to220 case, and that would also be an option.
Well, what is the ultimate rectifier diode??

Sorry for the slow replys recently, but Iv'e been having a bit of bother with my internet connection the last week or so (you would never think a piece of guttering would be able to break your internet connection would you?).

Anyway, I have the PCB's now, allong with all of the parts for the kits save the heat sinks (the ones below aare from the last order)so as soon as I recieve them, I will start packing things up to send out to people.

Also, as far as the best diode choice goes, you may be better off asking in a seperate thread, as I haven't tried out as many different diodes as a lot of other people on the board have, so probably aren't the best to advise. However, I can say that if you have a diode in a TO-247 case with two legs it will not fit into the board, and if you have a TO-220 with three legs they won't fit either so that kind of limits your choice a bit. And, if you are asking in relation to an Aleph-X then I can tell you that the diodes used in the PASS labs amplifier are the BYW99W-200's which are the diodes that are included with the kits, so these may be a good place to start.

Hi, I'm not sure if I said this already, but there are no more kits left for this, just a few extra PCB's that I ordered. I'll know better how many extra I have soon but it should be at least ten, probably more.

and for everyone else, I haven't heard anything more about the heatsinks yet so I will probably start sending out the orders I can, that don't need these, soon.

The heatsinks are supposed to be getting sent accross from Germany and just simply havent' arrived yet, and I haven't heard anything for a few days from Michi for a few days now so I'm not entierly sure when they will be turning up. But hopefuly it shouldnt' be anything to worry about too much (unless people are in a big hurry for these).

The delay with the heatsinks is mostly my fault :xeye:
I kept them here for over a week before I forwarded them to Andrew.
Please accept my apologies, I was VERY busy with work.

Still, it is ten days ago now that I send them.
Have they still not arrived?

Well, there is a big parcel from germay waiting for me in the porters lodge a the moment, so I should be starting to send the orders out tomorrow and will have to get them all done by saturday at the latest as I will be going off home for a bit then to Budapest after that for a week. I'll try and post up here with a list of people's names as I am sending them out, but my internet connection at home is still down, so it may take me a while to let people know how things are going.

Andrew.

OK, I have posted out about 12-14 of the orders now and if I get my work finished in time tomorrow, I should get the rest out then. I can't quite remember who I sent out the orders for at the moment, but most went to th US and europe, so those of you in the UK may have to wait a bit longer (sorry).

Andrew.
