Well it's not just about heat dissipation it's getting decent grunt from the output stage.
Even if it was Class AB I would still probably do 8 devices per channel.

Thanks pico, I was thinking along the line of the Class AB S200 output stage - so not as much heat, so 8 devices will be doable I suppose.
I think Nelson will be leaving the output stage up to us, as there were so many different Threshold circuits including the series (cascoded) ones in the SA models. Nelson's FE pcb caters for both.
Maybe the Stasis guru ZM would have a suggested output stage.

I didn't see where he mounted source resistors.
So either he is good at hiding them or he has been messing around with zero degen.

No pico, emitter resistors, we are going BJT here not Fets - they would have been all wired up under the heatsink I would say.
That's right pico, old school going back 35 years or so to the good old days. Mr Pass will remember them well.
