I am trying, I am trying. The picture of the bill for the drivers puts me off 🙂. But the more I think about that project, the more I like it.

🙂, yes, to me it is quite clear I will give it a green light. Still trying to find reasons not to build it, but after all the projects and with my current experiences, this project really makes sense and promises top performace.
Resistance is futile!
800e for pair if the tweeters, so not that bad 🙂.
wow, ~800e per tweeter? Not for the fainthearted like me 🙂
RE VituixCAD legend... I think if you right click the graph in question and export to an image - you get the legend. Don't have my measurement PC handy to confirm
Distortion measurement of T34B in WG, mic distance 50cm, 1.41V (already very loud with that tweeter).

Fantastic project!
What SPL does that come to, and what would the peak SPL be without distortion crossing a reasonable number say -35 or -40db?
Thanks

Bliesma only or whole loudspeaker?
Blisma only, in WG, I think 110dB is quite conservative estimate. Considering you mean THD ~-40dB. 32W in closed box will run out of excursion limit at 20Hz at around 107dB, half space, one loudspeaker, no EQ.

- 32W and 18WE drivers ordered
- carpenter has cabinet plans and started to work on it. I assume it will take 2-3months
- I will export front baffle STL and STEP for cnc
- hopefully this week I would like to measure the impact of some protective elements for bliesma (I will use two toothpicks for the beginning)
- I will order custom terminal plates for triwiring binding posts (WBT 0703 Cu)
There will also be flush mounted wheels in the plinth.

It will be interesting to see if / how the toothpicks change the acoustics of the tweeter / waveguide. Looking forward to a comparison between no / one / two toothpicks 🙂
I am hoping toothpicks will have almost zero effect, but.....
It is probably safer to keep those protective elements further from the dome. Another aspect is, they should have the surface area as small as possible, and not flat, so it doesnt reflects energy back to the dome.

This driver combination sounds very nice, i was able to hear it as an active system. It was really wonderful, love the bliesmas, even unmodified.
This is what i heard : ELLIPTICOR E22 aktiv – A.O.S. Audio Systeme

Don't be afraid of that.
Wavelength of a 20 kHz tone is 17 mm......
Sometimes you guys see ghosts where there aren't any 😱
I looked at these AOS projects earlier when I was looking for any ellipticor projects and measurements.
Actually, 2way with 21WE and T34B in WG is very high on my "dream projects" list.
