I started a discussion as it seems 🙂
But dear Scott, the design of witch I added a foto, can it be done with 2 x ms 11's per side? Without any drawbacks, accept some verticall dispursion?

That can be used as a template. Size likely needs to be different — hard to make an 18 litre or so enclosure that big without empty spaces inside.

Or Scots water buffelo. But double the size and double the ports. Front baffle like the picture
Water Buffalo is an ML-TL, little relation to a BR.
An optimum miniOnken for the A11ms is 9 litres. I would personally not try to go lower, i value finesse over brute for force in a reflex. If you need the most bass, build an ML-TL or FHXL, or the big Woden double horn (Brodgar).

Okay thanx Dave, I'm not familiair with the mini onken.
How low does the 9 liter go?
I agree, I care more about the quality of the low, than the amount. And the midbass is where the ms11 can shine. Although I never heard the water buffalo, but you would say that their sound signature is "less refined"? Some 50hz at -3db would do it for me. Especially coming from 2 ms 11's.

F6 about 50, F10 in the low 40s. Anechoic
Note that there is an extrapolation that needs to be made, since the modelers do not takeinto account the extra R of a high ratio slot vent, and the room, and room placement play a huge role. As will the output impedance of your amplifier (if you look at teh Woden King of Swing designs you can see that with a high output impedance amplifier one can take advantage of a larger reflex box.

The only instance of the A11ms i have heard, It is good. It beat the Eikona and the A10.3eN (althou this one was the image champ, i expect when i get the A11mSeN into WB that advatage will evaporate.

11opas,
We look forward to your listening impressions and you have the Eikona 2 also. 🙂
No rush, give them more hours and get back to us when you've spent more listening.
And nice work with the cabinets.

I just finished a pair of Alpair 11MS in a BR. They are leather wrapped and finished with African Padauk on the sides.
Very nice!

Thanx Dave! Would it not be whise to use a passive radiator instead of the reflexport. Be adding or taking away mass, probably easier to tune. The buffalo looks like a bassreflex, by design, wat makes it a mtl

Yes, I can work something up if you wish.
There is nothing in this life that has no drawbacks however. Well, not much anyway.
