You got a point. To avoid confusion, I've added another product to better clarify this. It can be found here https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=886
I've centered the original template of the UMS 5U 400 on the 4U 400 heatsinks and added an extra hole so there is not a "left" and a "right" heatsink

I remember listening to this song with my father when I was a kiddo and I loved it! 😀
Thanks for letting me know about this, it seems like I had inverted plus and minus. Should be fixed now!
Pre-orders for these are now available until April 4th via the diyAudio store for anyone that is interested, with optional UMS-esque heatsinks.

Thinking out loud here.
My intention is to build an Aleph 60 channel into each monoblock.
Since I'm going to have the power supply and using just one side for heatsinks...
Why not put in master switches to cut over the power supply, inputs, and speaker outs to an F5 Turbo V3 sitting on heatsinks on the other side? Only one amp would be on at a time, so it's not like I'm going to overwhelm the heatsinks of the box.
That is in the realm of possible, isn't it?

Yeah. I'd like to modify my pre-order to have the back panel drilled this way, if it becomes an option before April. 🙂Awesome product!
Does anyone have a CAD file (1 RCA, 1 Power socket & 2 binding posts like for DIYaudio products) that fits this chassis?
@Gianluca, which inner baseplate is compatible with it?
Thanks.
~240W of dissipation on one pair of those sinks might get awfully warm. At least I think that's the estimated dissipation per channel for the V3, I could be mistaken. YMMV based on your personal build.Thinking out loud here.

Sure, you simply need to add one customization service together with the chassis to your cart so we'll make sure to drill the rear panel before shipping it. I can send you the CAD drawing via PM if you need it
Might tone it down to a V2 or V2&3/8s. 🙂
But I think the idea of a two in one chassis would be fun to build.

For all those who will receive their MonoBlock in the next days, I have prepared a video guide to help you assembly the chassis. If you like this format we may add more videos for all the other chassis as well 🙂
Buongiorno Gianluca,
fantastic work! I think the video will also help some members?

Cheers

Does the monoblock chassis use (2) 200mm x 165mm (H) heatsinks? What are the dimensions of the case?
Yes that's correct, you can also opt to have 4 heatsinks (2 per sides) or no heatsinks at all.Does the monoblock chassis use (2) 200mm x 165mm (H) heatsinks? What are the dimensions of the case?
