Ok, cool. Since the 7ms are fairly similar to 11ms, I'll go with new 7ms drivers in new boxes.
Keeping the 11ms drivers in my Sea Stacks makes more sense. I'll find someone who has a big room and wants some nice speakers. That's better than a couple of big empty enclosures.
And if my tube amp's high output impedance is still a problem with the new speakers, that just gives me a good excuse to build a new amp.

Do you have any more info on these? Any particular MA driver compatibility?
I’ve been looking at 4” or thereabouts driver small bookshelf near field. Was thinking of Pulvia. More “background” level of music - I’d be sat 2-3 feet away from them.

The Alpair 7.3 and the Pluvia 7PHD can do that both in a 12L ported (F3 is 45Hz). Only port tuning is different.

nope.
Looks like silver Alpair 10.3s and the box is bigger than you think.

Alpair 7.3 and the Pluvia 7PHD
optimum miniOnken is 9 litre, they can be fitted into about 5.

The bad: The bass is a mess. Boomy, flabby, overpowering. Almost unlistenable.
This is not the speakers fault, I think.
Damp the vent as required.

How high? These type amps ideally require Fs tuning as in equal height impedance peaks or will have an increasingly 'sloppy' bass the further away its tuned, with how high an amplitude 'mess' based on the amp's output impedance.
In short, if each cab isn't tuned individually, usually best overall to either plug the vent or make the cab ~aperiodic.

Do the CHR-120 really going down to low 30's in a large ported cabinet? That's lower than a lot of 8,10,12 inch full-range drivers how are they doing it?

Sure.
Their Fs, Qt are suitable for a relatively low tuning frequency with a vented box, no mysteries here. A lot of large wideband units are:
-Low Q, high-sensitivity types (so really need a bass horn and / or a lot of help from the amplifier or series R to make any LF),
-Pro-audio units where SPL & power-handling are the goal rather than extension (to a point a variation on the above)
-Have in contemporary parlance a very high Vas & / or Q so need to either be run sealed, resistively vented, or be in a vented box larger than many are able to use

Mark's early J6T began that journey without spider as well, so I think it appears to be coming full circle, certainly with lots of new improvements since then, but the original spiderless features is revived.
The J6T/Alpair 5 used ferrofluid to centre the voice coil. Its “ban” in Europe led to the discontinuation. The A5.2 was the next attempt, and MArk was using what he learned with both these drivers leading to the A7ms/11ms.

I found, oddly by chance, the manufacturer and model - they're $1299 "Divas". 180mm wide x 250mm high x 250mm deep. 5.8 litres.
Right. I’ve seen those before, but not the info.
5.8 litre is close to as small as makes sense, that is about the same as the mPlu-Ken7HD.
Properly done the asking for these seems fairly resonable. Takes some effort to laminate the pine. They are quite pretty.
We have put many different drivers into this box (with appropriate tunign changes).

Availability
Anyone know when the Alpair 10P drivers will be available at Madisound again? Or what the issue is regarding them?
