Hi Pavel,
you said something in another thread that we have some common interests. I have stumbled onto this moments ago and read it. You would be surprised at a design that has been used for two years. It is also uncanny how we share similar ideas in trying to achieve the ultimate.
complimentary symmetry LTP followed by diamond. Bandwidth 10 MHz. bare schematic attached. Have made over 50 now and with stunning feed-back from people.

Hi Nico,
looks (and sounds) familiar, indeed. I have noticed that some people all around the world came into similar conclusions and solutions. Thanks for your inputs.
John, you know where from Petr Mares is?
Best,
Pavel
That is a heck of a nice box you have for the preamp, Nico! I am glad I sent you the photos of the Lyra Connosieur.
Nico, I think that PMA likes low open loop gain and little feedback but your design is a high open loop design with much FB, IMO.
My version of our line amp has about 30 dB of OL gain and 1 MHz OL freq resp (-3 dB) which I think is more inlie with PMA:s design philosphy.
PMA - correct me if I am wrong here.
My THD levels are around 0.002% up to about 100 kHz at 1Vrms out and 1k load.

PMA said:We have made several listening sessions and comparisons, with audience. After tests against Parasound Halo JC-2, Audio Research SP-15, Audionet Pre G2; with Audionet AMP monoblocks as power amp for example, and Quadral Titan Mk IV as speaker for example, I can say that properly built and in-box wired Dispre II, with a good power supply, can compete IMHO to ANY high-end preamp.
Hello PMA, Pavel.
I just want to say I like you Dispre II very much 🙂
It has
- the complementary dual differential bjt input
+ one second stage for integration of the gains
+ diamond output buffer
Basically same idea as AD797, which topology I have used in several of my later amplifier schematics.
And first time I did it in my AD797 discrete clone:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=92094
And second time in my new jfet hi-fi op-amp:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=94557
And in several other later posted amplifiers as well.
It is a very nice way to amplify 😎
I can understand how your new preamplifier have extraordinary qualities,
when considering you great experiences gathered for a time of many years of constructing amps.
Your Lineup

Hello Pavel
Jonathan Carr from Lyra Connoisseur is the person to ask
I don't have any information on him other than readily
obvious things that can be be obtained through Google.
Yours Sincerely
John
PS
His is an interesting story but not much readily available
information.

John,
Pavel make jokey, Mr Mares was born not far from where Mr Macura resides.
Afaih, he lives in HK nowadays.

I remember when Jonathan Carr was with us in forum.
He is an excellent amplifier designer, with some very interesting schematics posted.

Hi Sigurd,
How the devil are you, it has been a long time. Nice to hear from you.
Did you complete the pre-line amp? It should work very nice with the Le Monstre.
Kindest regards
Nico
Hi, Nico Ras,
Your diagram in post #341, the collector of inverting input transistors, is it connected to emittor follower from non-inverting input?

Regarding PCBs, I have all the e-mails, and will everyone let know when the production is started again. You know, the agenda, shipment and packaging is extremely time consuming, I had only 1 week holiday in summer, so I do not hurry that much 😀 . It is hardly profitable at all, so please be patient. Thanks.
Hi PMA,
No problem, I'll contain my curiosity to listen to your DISPRE.
I still in the honeymoon period with my UGS but i'll want to build another ( the DISPRE ) for my study later....and to do some comparison testing with the UGS ofcourse, i'm sure they are both great but i'm curious to see the diferences in character.
