The tone Arm should not be too heavy. The relatively high current this produces should be ideal for a trans impedance input, like the one that Bonsai shows on another thread.

Resonance at 6.6Hz is way too low and will cause serious IM distortion.
Fres should be somewhere between 10Hz and 13Hz.

I'm a bit surprised about an MC Cart needing a low mass arm.
My Cart has exactly the same dynamic compliance of 15mm/N, but my arm is everything but light with Fres at 10Hz.
Either the Goldring specs are based on different measurements, or the test magazine did not measure correctly.
With Dr. Feickert's Adjust+ one can perfectly check this Fres and also adjust the Cart's azimuth optimally.

I have Adjust +. I have the Ethos in a Mitchell Techno arm. I was surprised about the Stereoplay measurements too. The guy in the lab is usually competent.

About the time I bought the SME 3009 SIII* that I ended up never using to try on high compliance cartridges I had an audio technica AT-34 bayonet mount. Given it's compliance and the weight of AT arms fo the time that was about 6.7Hz. Clearly AT were not worried about low resonant freqency. I kinda wish I hadn't sold that cartridge as it really did perform well.
*5.5g with the standard wand.
This tracking figure seems too good to be true.
Hi Fi World measured a more realistic 63 micro-m when they tested the Ethos.

With this setup the Ethos cleared 90uM.
At 100uM the right channel stated to distort.
That was with 1,75g down pressure.
I will now try 2.0g and play with the anti skating.
I do not use the Rega geometry. The arm is adjusted with a Schön template.

With 2.0g I got 100um clean.
110um distorted slightly on the right channel.
120um distorted heavily on both channels.
After some experiments I set the anti skating on 1,5g.
I measured the lateral low frequency resonance the old way.
I used the HiFi News Analog Test LP.
By watching the woofer and listening to the tone it stated to wobble at 11Hz and went away under 9Hz so the value is around 10Hz.
I really do not know why one Test report got only around 70um tracking and have no idea why the resonance frequency in the other test was so low.
So far I have not measured frequency response but my setup Doesn’t sound dark, forgiving and foggy at all. The sound I get is very dynamic and I would call the tonal balance as neutral.
Let’s see how the frequency response look.

So there is certainly no big drop or a rise at very high frequencies , provided that my meter is accurate.
As I said, I have Adjust+ too but not the new software.

I have to say that I use a balanced transimpedace phonostage with 4 low noise Opamps in parallel as the frontend. Because of strong feedback the input impedance is very low.
