Here is a new construction.
I am listening with the unbalanced signal input. Sweet...

Where's the blue LED???:devilr:

Or do we need another color for this kind of amps?

You are now the proud owner of the first stereo Pass_Yax2_JH.
Passdiy should make a seperate gallery for it. :hot:

/Hugo - Working (in bits and peaces) on his AlephX. 😉

Here is the as-built circuit. I have not used any matching component or adjustment pot. The output node dc and differential offset dc are within acceptable range. I name this "Pass_YAX2_JH" unless Nelson Pass object to it.

JH,

very nice

Hugo,

sleepless nights with this you know what :goodbad:

Everybody,

I think my madness circuit is useless because the transistors have current flowing under all conditions anyway :clown:

So I will concentrate in raising power, found a circuit in the net which is possible to adapt to our circuits hopefully 😎

Giving up already?:devilr:

Soon, Nelson will show up with his magic bag. Then, again you'll have new circuits to explore, and have sleepless nights.😉

This thread is merely a diversion along the path. I would not
expect anyone to take the integrated circuit approach too
seriously, but I do think it has been an instructional excercise.

JH has done particularly well, I'm sure we'll all agree.

😎

I don't do Haiku...

I imagine Nelson standing at a BIG pond with a bag full of pebbles. He throws them into various places into the pond in various ways and watches all the strange ripple patterns and thinks ....

Bwaaah, hah, hah!!!! :devilr:

Just keep throwing those stones, baby!

And yes, JH has done VERY well!

Sorry, It's Friday, time to go home and all the brain cells allotted to the office for the week have been sufficently fried.

A good weekend to all.

GREAT!!! SWEET!!!

I am now listening with the balanced SOBOZ (having CCS tails). The sound is really great and sweet.

PS. Playing Jacques Loussier Trio, HANDEL on a mini CD player and horn speakers of 8 ohm 97dB.

JH, is there a difference in sound, power, stability ...
balanced vs. unbalanced?

Bernhard, according to the rule: gain is feedback R/ input R
you seem to have very high gain. Not good for distortion IMHO.
Try a square wave too.

/Hugo 😉
