No, electrostats. Very, very transparent sound.

Question, it seemed that the B1 was a bit warmer in sound. Could that be the difference in resistors? I now used the BOM resistors from Takman, and the B1 was populated with Kiwame's. Anyone have any ideas on this?
Resistors of course. Even more pot and eventual output capacitor on the B1. And burn in time.
Looking nice in those boxes as a combo. The coupling capacitors are missing so its more direct sound. Could be telling more about the source & system. Taking it up to 200mA with some small sinks could give more fleshy tone. The four 220R could be exchanged on type preference. Some use Z-foils or wire-wound Miniohms as ref neutral components there. But expensive. Let the lytics completely form out with some playing hours as Stajo said nonetheless.
Changed the pot from 50k log stepped Khozmo to a 25k log pot from TKD, the 2511. The Khozmo was noisy when changing the volume....
