Yes a nice hard cheese with say a good pear...drool. Back to serious matters: I've been meaning to ask about feet for some time. Seriously! namely there seems to be a consensus that wooden cones are the best for our players. I've seen oak ones for sale and some more exotic types on e-bay, from thailand I think. Any thoughts or experience or good tips please. At present I have just some stick-on felt pads. Not very gracious but I was told once the stock feet are crap and I believe just about everything I'm told!
All cheese is nice as long as it's a quality one. I do like a good old strong English mature chedder as it goes with most chutneys and fruit. I do love French cheese too, but the other week I had a superb Gouda, it had a butterscotch hint to its flavour.
