Mannsize. 3.5way active cardioid´ish

What large drivers need to do well is to handle the first few problem areas (rim resonance, cone breakup, etc.) that are inherent in these larger drivers. If the driver does that well then I'd consider it regardless of the cone mass. The LF lumped parameter variables are pretty much irrelevant to me. DSP can handle anything down at those frequencies. The sensitivity is a major factor of course as it needs to be matched to the compression driver, although with an active DSP crossover this too is pretty much irrelevant (relevant in a passive crossover however.)

i confess, i have a perversion addiction to 12V stuff. I had to buy 8-out car dsp when i saw it too cheap.
i hook it up with couple partsbin car amps. Funny thing is this is quite nice, no noisy fans and hiss from compression driver.
Processor eats analog and opt, coax. hook it with cd and keep on going.
speaker wire is 7wire trailer cable just ad 1 more wire to hook all four drivers.
I took dual channel measurements, throw them to vituixcad and got nicely matching slopes.

current 4th order crossover wraps 900deg, its bit different than main flat phase FIR set.

im an addict
