Making a usb cable _ data only

Nah, chasing Bybees again, all this is sorted before the data is spat out of the memory device into the next buffer on its way to the DAC, all these operations work at different rates and burst of data are to be expected as FIFO and other types of data buffers are used to package the data ready for transmission.
All this stuff regarding digital data transfer is getting a bit strange, its like we are forgetting the rise of digital signal transfer and how far it has developed and how much of it happens without anybody noticing and without any problems for 100 - 0.0000000000000000000000000001% of the time.
And jitter only really concerns us at the point of conversion.....
Yes, this is strange (according to standard theory).
Without complete access to the details (schematic and layout) of the phone/player in question, your above summary is open to some question.
Marce, I'm just relating what I (and others) find.

Dan.

When you charge a battery the number of electrons entering the negative terminal are exactly balanced by the number leaving the positive terminal. This must be true, as otherwise the circuit charging the battery would violate physics: charge conservation to be precise. It may be that you are confusing two different meanings of 'charge':
1. move some ions etc. around in a battery - electrochemistry
2. move some electrons around in a conductor - electrostatics

The electrons can also be used to convert an element E with zero charge to E- with -1 charge. So not all electrons have to exit the battery.

Where do you think that ion came from or went to? Do you believe that Mr. Kirchoff got it wrong when he wrote his Current Law? Maybe he had never heard of batteries?

It is difficult to have a sensible discussion with someone about a topic when he is either ignorant of, or rejects, basic knowledge of that topic.

It came from the negative terminal, and went into an electron orbital. Never leaving the battery until the battery is discharged, the element/molecule is oxidized, and the electron then leaving. I'm afraid I can't be called ignorant on this specific topic. Maybe others. 🙂

Ummmm, yeah, you can. Look up "balancing redox equations" which I'll happily tutor you in for my usual hourly rate.

Yes, that must be it.
After spending two days with EE's and physicists operating at the edge of what is possible this stuff is really hilarious. What a laughable pile of poop. I wonder what would happen if everyone just let every one of these claims pass with no comment at all and just proceeded to make affirmative claims of the opposite.

Risking flame bait again here but how much would it hurt (anyone) to try an EVS? They have a 30 day return policy so you risk about $15 in shipping.

I found benefits that can't be explained only by HF noise. I am not the only one who thinks this...You will probably say that if it can't be explained it can't be good. But I thought I'd ask anyway.

As I said I went into it calling them "snake oil" but a friend and I couldn't deny the naturalism and seemingly improved dynamics.

Because I understand the practical side of EMC engineering and I don't want to hang an antenna on my system... Nor is it going to contribute anything to the circuit...
There is no empirical data regarding these products...

I have to agree with Scott 100%

Maybe you help with this pro bono 🙂

I now see why a battery works without violating Kirkoff's law.

Looking here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reduction_potential#Nernst_equation

If a metal is reduced or oxidized at the surface of an electrode, where is the electron loop? Back to the ground/reference electrode?

That type of reaction is what I have experience with and always assumed the electrons were just removed and added from the metal.

No, it is deeply saddening. It shows just how hopeless is our modern education system. Somehow, children learn to jump through ever more hoops while carefully avoiding acquiring any real skill or understanding of jumping or hoops. They then enter adult life with empty minds yet a huge faith in their own opinions. When they meet someone (often, but not always, from an earlier generation) whose mind is not empty they often accuse them of being 'closed-minded'.

I need my mind to stay closed; it stops the facts from falling out!
