With your First Watt preamps and x-overs, with the external PSUs, do you connect the grounds of the RCAs to the chassis at all? Are these chassis' floating with regard to ground?
Thank you
The RCA ground gets attached to chassis.
Thank you.
My first preamp many years ago had the RCA screwed directly to the chassis. Later I used insulated washers, but had a star ground like concept wiring the RCA grounds to the chassis ground point of the grounding binding post (originally for turntable’s ground).””

Many thanks, I'll check that out and maybe mill a board...This works for me:

Hello Mr. Pass,
thanks for the tip with reduced noise in the case. I have ordered the official Modushop-case for the AXO yesterday. Will be one of my self-given Christmas-presents. Is that a kind of marked autocentrism???
Have a good day!

PASSWORKS AXO custom - case
Hello diyAudio - members,
I've got my christmas present earlier this year. Santa arrived with a Ferrari and was only speaking Italian. He throw a nice pack of aluminum from Modushop - Italy into my direction. He leaved with spinning rear wheels and said: facere! Do it! I couldn`t answer - he was to fast! I think he is busy these days.
So I started to build the case for the diyAudio/Passworks AXO. Some pics and impressions.
I wish you all a relaxed and peaceful christmas! Listen to your beautiful selfmade soundmachines.....

I tweaked mine for 500Hz (C3 and C13) I hope this is OK if not please feel free to pile in and chastise. I can get away with the stock 600 Xover...I think.
Have a good holiday and new year DIYers...
