I got plenty of them burned up preamps during college days, but the A40 was singing beautifully first time round.

thanks for the tip with reduced noise in the case. I have ordered the official Modushop-case for the AXO yesterday. Will be one of my self-given Christmas-presents. Is that a kind of marked autocentrism???

PASSWORKS AXO custom - case
Hello diyAudio - members,
I've got my christmas present earlier this year. Santa arrived with a Ferrari and was only speaking Italian. He throw a nice pack of aluminum from Modushop - Italy into my direction. He leaved with spinning rear wheels and said: facere! Do it! I couldn`t answer - he was to fast! I think he is busy these days.
So I started to build the case for the diyAudio/Passworks AXO. Some pics and impressions.

Nice feet...
I tweaked mine for 500Hz (C3 and C13) I hope this is OK if not please feel free to pile in and chastise. I can get away with the stock 600 Xover...I think.

Only because I run these TRIOs at 500Hz ...
I built it with the stock 600Hz anyway to start with....

I worked some more on the AXO custom. Finished the seperated PSU.Simple linear regulated Supply.Most of the assembly is done. Will make some of my first listening impressions next few days.
