Are you going to order more LT4320 based CRC PSU PCBs too?
I plan to buy some THT rectifier boards, but how many depends on your answer.
Thanks
Randy
the "only rectifier" THT and SMD boards are all gone. I think I will produce few more of those in near future, may be 50 pairs each. People keep asking me .
Meanwhile I will also produce a few more of these CRC boards just to take care of sporadic requirements.

yes, I have ordered
1. SMD and THT rectifier boards - 60 pairs
2. LT4320-CRC PSU PCBs - 50 nos.

My main qustion is about the staggering of more than two Secondary voltages.
No problem with the staggering but why all these snubbers? No harm done only these circuits require no snubbers.
Regarding MOSFETs, I am looking at other options besides the CSD19535KCS listed as an example in Prasi's bill of materials.
How about STP110N8F6?
Suggestions are welcome. 🙂

Just about to stuff my CRC PCB's but I managed to order the wrong DIL socket so will have to wait for some more 🙁
A couple of quick questions from a noob though! What is the purpose of C1, C9 and R9? Are these all optional?

Hi,
Could you elaborate on this? As I understood it, standard diode bridge rectification triggers ringing because of the 0.6 cutoff of the diodes--but 4320 cures that by turning on/off at 0 crossover. But are there not other triggers for ringing that could occur? I've been wondering this for a while.
I understood that the snubbers were still being recommended, and thus assumed other transients could induce the ringing--although perhaps not so frequently.
Or is there another reason you consider the snubbers unneccesary?
Ron
\A couple of pics of the boards to see if everything looks ok? Minus the LT4320's as I can't mount them until I get the correct DIL sockets.
Make sure your FET's are soldered well; that the thru hole is filled by soldier. It's a lot of current draw with the thru hole plating.
My two cents.
Thanks Botte, I always seem to have trouble getting solder to flow through double sided boards for some reason..

Hello mpa,
nicely done.
C1 is a small electrolytic about 220uf, that would help reduce inductance. suggested by a kind member.
C9/R9 is an output snubber.

You have the DIP package part - 584-LT4320HN8-1#PBF?
Wouldn't it be possible to directly solder that through hole part onto the PCB? Or that is not advised?

Qg is quite high.
Somewhere towards the beginning of thread tvicol and myself had posted suggestions regarding suitability criteria.
low Qg, High VDs, Low Rds-on and Vgsth=2.5-4.5, etc.
please read it. Also For SMD/THT rectifier only boards i had posted sch with many options.
Also some suggestions by Danny_66
