Which version? There is a version of the SMD board with 2 mosfets (each is a dual die) and there is another version with 4 individual mosfets (latest one). Please specify and I can try to share what I have learned.

Basically there are criteria to satisfy. They are:

1. highest Vds (depending upon your voltage application)
2. Lowest RDS(on)
3. Highest Vgs(th) (2V min!)
4. Lowest total gate charge Qg.

For the single individual mosfet variety: In my view, TPH4R50ANH is an all round champion of the lot.

For the dual die, try SQJB00EP

That info is in the design doc of the LT4320 controller. Contingent upon using N-ch MOSFETS that can handle your voltages the voltage range is from 9V to 72V, absolute max is to 80V:

The thru hole version is the same application as what X has done in his SLB power supplies and you can use the same MOSFETS he has or choose others. My post #1364 lists the design choices that need to be made for the MOSFETS and the 1st page of this thread has some nice discussions and calculations to alleviate concerns regarding MOSFET heat in high current applications, etc…

I am posting a few 3D as well as sch, stuffing guide and gerbers for convenience here again (already posted in apex 100w amp thread but i guess its like finding needle in haystack)

Now the resistors can be 2 of bpr56 /58 -5W each side or 6 of 6mm dia max. axial resistors of 23mm pitch populated from bottom side.

I have tried to explain the use of psu in sch in a detailed manner, do have a careful look. The caps can be 35mm dia max with 10mm pitch-2pin OR 22.5mm pitch-4pin.
