Hi guys,
as one of the latest to sign the GB I'm patiently waiting to get the liberating message.
Congrats to all who received their Lovoltech unobtanium so far, and don't forget to show pictures of what you have built out of it!
Paypal invoice re-sent.
Gerber files for the LU1014D Adapter PCB-
Make sure to select- 2W/(m K) insulator for the aluminum board. Keep in mind not all PCB fab houses offer the 2W/(m K) option.
Thanks!

Thanks to Papa and Will (and Zenmod!) I've got a ZenMod LuDEF amp up and running!
The LU1014 is snuggled under the round metal washer. 🙂

@wg45, are the adapter boards that we received made from electrically insulating material and they do not require additional insulation between them and the heatsink?
I did not find continuity between the LU1014 pad and the back of the adapter PCB, but would like to be sure.
Thanks

@avitkauskas The board has several layers: copper, pcb, insulator, aluminium substrate. You can bolt it right onto a heatsink.

Got it! First attempt seems to be lost in space ... Thanks, wg45!
Hi
Well today I decided to try soldering the LU1014D on the adapter...first time didn’t go well but now it’s very easy. I would say the hardest part is to apply the right quantity of soldier paste to the adapter.
Solder paste I bought, goes very well;
Applying the paste...
Cooking a little (medium heat) not for long. Once you see the solder spreading under the LU1014 you’re almost done.
Final results pic.
So go ahead, have fun !
Thanks a lot for the video X, they really helped.
Eric

Package arrived today. Sincere thanks to all involved and especially to wg45, who took the brunt of this big task, receiving only our thanks for his effort. If there ever will be anything that you need and I can provide, you got it. 🙂
