I remembered I have one question about the adapter board.
What material is it made of? Is it aluminum or aluminum oxide?
Does it require the insulation layer (like keraterm) between the board and the heatsink?

Though I was very late to the party, I too just received my pair of extremely well matched LU1014D's. I want to publicly thank everyone here who made this possible- Will, woofertester for doing the matching, xrk971 for the adapter board design, anyone I missed, and of course Mr. Pass. This is cool. Currently leaning towards a LuFo or a LuFo Lite for these, unless there's an excellent preamp design out there that I've missed.
Package arrived safely in my hands. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and of their generosity of their time.

Weird. I just bought a bunch of these parts off Ebay today, then I found this thread. Is the adapter board gerber file available? It would be far easier to order boards direct from China to Australia, and I'll need quite a few of them.
