LM4780 stopped working

Yes and the potentiometers resistance being the reference to GND for both channels. You modified the inputs to 2 floating antennas and then the uPC1237 came into action. You then bridged the protection relays contacts as a remedy. We know.

Measure the relays contacts if you have the opportunity. Connecting an oscilloscope won’t hurt.

Oh really, is diy audio only for those that have an engeneering degree?
I got numerous dacs and amps all based on China bords extensively moded. I don't care if I once in a while need help. All I care about is the fact that I can enjoy music at a level that rivals multy dollar store bought systems.
I constantly try to explore the best offerings in a given technology (chip amps, class a, class d, a/b, tube....r2r dacs, akm, ess, with passive, discrete, tubed, transformer output stages....... apply mods that others suggested and even some of my own.
So I guess what you are trying to imply is I shouldn't be doing all this and buy ready made overpriced audio gear and live a booring life instead?

I didn't say all that. I just find the approach to the whole thing a bit frivolous. To modify a device, even one as simple as this, requires a minimum knowledge of the subject matter, not an engineering degree. I have an engineering degree, but in a different field. I deal with electronics as a hobby, but with an engineering approach, not a random poke, so whatever happens, let it happen. You should have sketched out the schematic, so if you're not sure how to do it, ask a question here. And you would get a qualified answer I'm sure. There is a huge number of experts on this forum.

Take pictures before, during and after. Make one change and then stop, thoroughly test and see what did or did not change (and in which direction) and then, possibly, make another change - or undo the one that just screwed everything up. There are way too many pieces of ruined equipment cause by people jumping in and trying to do everything at once. And, yes, if you are going to attempt to modify electronic circuitry it really does help to know a little about electronic theory.

Also, keep in mind that it really is - up to a point - often a case of you get what you pay for. Not to say that everything bought off AliExpress is a turd but it's safe to say it isn't exactly high quality as a rule. And, no matter how much you gold plate a turd, at the end of the day it's just a shiny turd.

I wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for a trusted guy who preferred it over his JLH.
It plays wonderfully without the relay and tbh purists prefer the signal not going through hardened relay tips. Many amps do not even have a speaker protection relay.
Exiting times for us audio tinkerers. 😎
