LM4562 op-amp GB

Hello all,

I've had a lot of computer problems this weekend
and have lost some correspondence. Fortunately,
none of it was related to this GB. 🙂

Anyway, I received the parts Friday and have most
of them packaged. Now comes the fun part of
filling in customs paper work. 🙂

I should begin mailing them out in the next day or so,
but please bear with me as I have very limited time
to work on this in the next few days.

Cheers,
Dennis

Not trying to get offtopic but of the people who have gotten their chips how are they? have any of you guys tested them yet? If so how do they sound? I should have mine next week but as you see I cannot wait🙂

I've tested one of mine for a bit and it is awsome 🙂! I'm using it in a fairly simple headphone amp where I have tested quite a lot of different OPs (15 i think 😎 ) and it's definently one of the favorites, even "right out of the box". It is said to improve after a while and my expectations are very high, tomorrow I'll probably have more to say since I haven't had much time to test, bit it truly is a nice chip! :smash:

Can you let me know what you think when you have a chance to test it further. Everybody I have asked about this chip says it is just awsome this is why I ordered them. Can you compare it to other amps you have test or some usul ones like how does it compare to the
2134, 2227 or 2107? These are ones I have tried prior and others say they are no match for the 4562's any opinions on that?

Any idea how good it will work in and IV stage? I'll be building a DAC with opamp IV and summer, and although the 4562 is a sure thing for the summer, I wonder if others may be better for IV, as things like settling time is more crucial there.

I´ve heard the lme49710 is out,the single version of Lm4562,😡 to bad as am going to try in my headphone amp at first, wich has single opamp. If I try a LM4562 and only use one opamp,do I have to short inputs on the one I don´t use?

Hi Ryssen,

It doesn't look like you can plug the dual in a single DIP slot
and expect it to work. For example, I think on a dual Opamp,
pin 7 is an output whereas it is the V+ pin on a single opamp.

Cheers,
Dennis

No I don´t mean to direct plug in,but to make an adapter and only use + and - and one opamp, and leave the other one out.🙂 That´s why I wonder if I only can leave the other one out,or if I have to short in or otput on the one I don´t use.
