I will say these are truly nice Opamps. I have tested a few recently but these are in a class by themselves. I am glad I purchased them. Thatk you for your work on this group buy Dennis. I am sure it was most appreciated by everybody. Side note those RCA's will work perfectly for my applications thank you for those aswell.
Hey Dennis, opamps arrived in perfect shape last week! Thanks a lot for organizing this GB!!
Greetings,
Nils

i'm sure there is still enough interest for another group buy, maybe in a couple months or so.

Hello Stu,
Unfortunately I don't have any spares available.
Cheers,
Dennis

I have received a few inquiries so perhaps we can try again later.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Ive managed to get some free samples from the NS site, had to pay $10 delivery but I think thats good going. Thanks anyway.

Hi,
Just a quick note to thank the participants to this
GB who made it all possible, and especially to Novec
for getting the ball rolling.
I'm interested in hearing what applications you may
have planned for the chips. I have a couple in
a Zhalou DAC and plan to do a CMOY headphone amp.
I'm also toying with an active crossover.
Cheers,
Dennis
P.S: It seems it's quicker to mail things to Sweden than
to send it a few towns away... 🙂

I still have some, if you're interested.

Re: Thanks.
I've been using it on my computer sound card, analog crossover filters, and I've tried it in my Zhaolu. It's better than the OPA, AD, and LT opamps I've tried but falls way short of the Zapfilter. I guess for these applications discrete is still the way to go.

LM + Zapfilter
cotdt,...
Would you say LM + Zapfilter is the way to go with the Zhaolu?
Thanks.

Re: LM + Zapfilter
yes, that's what i just said, based on my own experience.

Tried a LM4562 in my heaphoneamp yesterday, and I think it bites my favorite AD847.The bas is more natural, better room info,I thought the AD847 was detailed, but 4562 is a little more..Will let it burn in for a while and listen some more.🙂
I'll be making a new CD player with TI 1794 DAC's and an LM4562 output stage, as per the circuit suggested by TI in their datasheet. Any idea how that'll stack up to the ZAPfilter?
I'm very happy with the ZAPfilter I've put in my DV-757, but it has a far inferior 1738 DAC and not exactly optimal layout or power supplies. Also, the ZAPfilter is impossible to use for dual mono, as it has shared ground and onboard power supply.

First of all, thanks Dennis for organizing this.
Re my experience, the LM 4562 have replaced OPA2134 in a buffer plus shelving low pass (dipole equalization) circuit which I use between a DCX2496 and the bass amplifier. I get much more bass and better dynamics. I have the impression that the LM4562 has slightly less detail (I kind of hear more the sliding of fingers on bass strings with the OPA which is a bit weird given that the xover is 18db at 210hz and I expect those noises to have a significantly higher frequency). I guess that the OPA gives the impression of more detail. Overall I prefer the LM4562.
