in short - Iron Pumpkin, as from start made part of proud Move your Butt series ( no remote no logic) later became armed with fancy itsybitsies, mainly because Pa said "It's Cunning Plan", then I acquired Turnip, suck it for few months and repeated - "It is Cunning Plan!"
so, after some struggle to learn New Mojo, being cleverly helped by one clever friend ( he insisted me learning it all, while having proper help from him in moments of total despair), I did made it as Noneednowtomoveyourbutt superduperuberthingie
rest is history ....... in development
so, now already no that short
anything later - having fancy remote and TFT, now already Plethora of Drek, even if really not yet published as such, can be categorized in few drawers:
- first drawer - whatever signal circuitry around, if you see resistor matrix, switched by relays, as Volume controller ( be it SE or Bal) in a middle of big MoBo - it must have and only possible to be governed by logic, so no possibility even for rotary switches***
- second drawer - if AVC is inside, whatever signal circuitry ( existing JFet buffer, or now already confirmed as worthy - tube-mos compound buffer), it again can be made as rotary switches controls or fancy remote/logic ....... even if in case of tube-mos, for rotaries I'll need to introduce some additional/optional nice timer circuitry, just to delay high voltage a little and also output de-muting relays
- third drawer - several thingies not yet published - all having reistor matrix volume, but also several complications in function algorithm ......... so logic control is absolutely necessary, thus no rotary switches controls even possible
- fourth drawer ........ I know there is something more, but I was lost already at second drawer
and yes, if someone is really interested and I decide ( totally spoiled by Papa's approach to life and everything) that there is some money (and we all know why I'm only here because of), I'll make Iron Turtle driven by two-rubber-bands-acting-as-buffer
that, for case that 2 rubber bands suddenly became Kosher parts in Audiophoolery Circles

***in Time of Yore, they had diode matrix for things like that, but nowadays main problem is finding rotary switch having more than 24 positions, and not costing Arm and Leg; let's ignore a fact that ZM's peanut brain would need 2 months of processing, just to draw appropriate diode 2^5 matrix, which is 32 steps

so here it is, another one of Either All the Glory or Major Public Disgrace
supposedly 12db to 21db gain, capable of outputting 65Vpp (23Vrms) when fed with 2Vrms
***you know - when Vol button is useful up to 10'o'clock
so, going on pile of who knows when I'll have time to actually order and try pcbs
note: got to mood after saving someone's POS clone of Audio Research SPsomething
