Yeah that is true… although the attractiveness of said arrangement is assumed better square law since its same sex device.as main thing in F6 is retaining max symmetry between halves, no logic in spoiling it
funny, that symmetry made F6 somewhat non-attractive for me
square law is one thing, amount of (intended) symmetry is another
wanna see true SQL F6, though not tested in vivo ...... even if quality of napkin used for sketch was really good?

Hi Istvan,@Igor , you wrote "M25 can't be used with Tanka due lack of gain" - does it mean that the max. 12 dB gain isn't enough?
Mightiness, I will order soon, I have some issues... currently: pneumonia 🤔
in my case it's not enough. You see, I have a DAC with output transformers and my tech wired them in step down ratio (4:1). Doing this we lower output impedance but also the voltage.
I may present 2nd system in which M25 will be used (Tannoy 15'' speakers) but later
Is P102 the BFR or does that pot serve a different function? One of these days ill figure out how to use LTSPICE and see what this circuit is doing… in the meantime I will just continue to admire.disclaimer - not tested
P102 is DC offset adjustment of the input buffers. BFR is only present in ZMs pletheora FE.Is P102 the BFR or does that pot serve a different function? One of these days ill figure out how to use LTSPICE and see what this circuit is doing… in the meantime I will just continue to admire.
P101 is for input stage bias adjust.
Would it be a possible, or is it just a bad idea to drive a couple of matched THF 51S with something of this this principle?
Or something like a high bias ST70 but with twin Tokin Sits, instead of twin EL34s per channel, and no output transformer for the Tokins- Just for fun? 🙂

I had been thinking about this sort of thing for a bit then i happened upon your post. Some kind of DC-coupled amp where the current sloshes back and forth between two symmetric stages. distortion in the rough sketch is 0.35% @ 10W and almost entirely -H3 (1kHz, LTSpice, perfect matching, etc..) which i guess isn't very desirable.Would it be a possible, or is it just a bad idea to drive a couple of matched THF 51S with something of this this principle?
Should be possible to do this with choke-loaded source follower, but i haven't looked into it yet. distortion seemed worse.

oops. the uncharged input caps were shifting the Q point. reducing them to 2uF gives the correct results. with no other changes, distortion is actually 1% @ 6.5W and almost entirely +H3 (made a mistake reading the log). i could not edit my earlier post.
it's hardly proper thread for further developing of any idea
if nothing worse, everything will just end without proper reference
open dedicated thread for particular idea, so we can proceed
